I bought these because the ones at Lowe's were $35 for one and I was able to get 6 on Amazon for a better deal. So they were easy to install in the ground as long as you don't have rocks or large roots to deal with. The issue I am having is that one of them I was able to get the post in without any problems. The second one the post got jammed and I had to pull the whole thing out of the ground so I could separate the post and the stake. With a lot of swearing and throwing of tools I was able to finally separate them, but I noticed that the the metal was busted. It probably broke while I was hammering it into the ground which you do have to give it some force, or you aren't gonna get anywhere. The idea of the stakes are great and the other ones seem to be fine, just the metal seems a little cheap. The one that sucks is I am probably stuck with the broken one.

I used to dig post holes for the few fences I put up around my house. It's hard work, and almost impossible if the fence passes through a wooded area. My daughter used these, and recommended I try them for a needed fence repair. They are awesome. Definitely use a 4x4 plumb level to make sure these anchors go in perfectly vertical, or your fence will look terrible. You can make final adjustments as you tighten the bolts on the stake socket.

Easy to hammer into the ground, wet ground if it's too hard to hammer.

Delighted with this product. Saves so much time and effort sine you no longer need to dig. I fully recommend this product.

These spikes worked great for a 4 ft wooden spaced fence. Make sure to use a scrap 4x4 piece to drop your sledge on to start off, and check for level as you go...
