VideoConverter Ultimate - Superfast Video Conversion Into More than 150 Formats - Video Format Conversion Software

As said in the headline, I installed this program just to discover that it has the same format and menu as another Markt-Technik product I purchased a few months beforehand. Both that VideoConverter and this one contain the same number of formats for conversion. My issue is that neither program has the format for AMV, and this one doesn't have the basic form of WMV, but does contain conversion for its 'HD' formats.

I recently used a combination VHS/DVD burner to copy my home made VHS tapes to DVD-R dvds. I then used this VideoConverter Ultimate software on my windows 10 pc convert the DVDs to .mp4 files so I could store all my videos in a folder on my PC for easy access. I play these .mp4 files using CyberLink PowerDVD 18 software. Now that the video files are stored as .mp4 files, I can also easily import them into my Corel VideoStudio 2018 software to edit the videos to add titles and soundtracks etc. I have only used the VideoConverter Ultimate software to create a .mp4 file with properties of 720x480 29.97 fps so I can't vouch for all of the output formats that it supports. In my limited use of the program so far, I have not experienced any bloatware etc. The program only takes about 2 minutes to install. The case that the software CD comes in has a registration code inside the case that you have to type in during the installation process. I wish all software installations were this easy! I gave 5 stars to all categories. The best Tech Support is one that you never have to deal with!

This program is well reputed by reviewers, so I paid the high price. Those reviewers, irresponsibly, did not mention the following: The installer tries to install extra add-ons, which you can turn off, BUT they then pop up insistently, over and over, until first re-boot. When you run the program after registering, it tries to alter your Windows settings to give it access to the Internet from your computer. When registering, it confusingly requires, not YOUR email, but the email of the Wondershare company. In summary: I paid the high price for this program to avoid the add-ons that often come with free programs. ...and got abusive install attempts anyway. Operation seems good, but not exceptional; the graphic format, controls, and logical interface are ordinary, not as good as AnyVideo Converter. ...so, this abusive program is NO better than the freebies. Don't waste your money, and suffer the dangers of having un-wanted add-ons installed without your approval....meaning they have no way to advise of problems.

First couple days it was working as described by Maufacturer. Later I have run into following problems:1. Crashed 3 times 2. Speed of downloadind files has decreased. 3. The speed of conversion has decreased substantially ( one DVBD disk took more than 17 hours). 4. Used to put the converted files in Tripard Studio file. But now I do not know where it is putting the files. Check Videos and pictures file did not find it. 5 Today the conversion program shut off abruptly twice and both time the reporty went automatically to Microsoft. Please resolve the problems and send me an instruction manual in english. Thank you.

Does everything it says an works great no issues would recommend others to purchase...Doesn't seem to work like originally specified videos aren't downloaded properly an some videos won't even download.

The Product meets a lot of my expectations; however, it falls short of the timing I wanted for my martials arts moves.

The software was easy and quick to install. It compresses the video very quickly and with little loss of quality. Compared to Adobe Premiere Pro, it much, much quicker and the quality is the same. The reason I gave it two stars is because in SD 720x480 the video because much smaller with a thick black frame all around the video. I don't a black frame all around the video when exporting from any other video program I own . It doesn't serve the purpose I bought it for - which is to downsize from HD to SD for DVD.
