Q: Can I hand wash this with soapy water or should I just wipe it down with a cloth?

Just wipe it down with a DAMP clean cloth. Use the backside of a knife to scrape off any dough that is stuck on the rolling pin. I would not recommend washing it with water. Dry it as soon as you are through wiping it down.

Q: Where is the wood from? Is it China?

The wood of our products is from rubber wood in Thailand.
