As Advertised and perfect fit for true 6x6 post.
These are as advertised and came ahead of schedule. They came well packed and individually wrapped with screws included. They fit well on new true 6x6 posts and have a little extra room on older weathered posts. They look very nice and really finish off the look of the deck. The added protection from water, squirrels and birds is exactly what I needed. Easy to install with a small drill and a screw driver. I finished 14 posts in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend these post caps. Wish I would have bought them sooner.

Order the right size! Made in China
I first ordered the cap for a 6x6 post, but my post was 5.5x5.5. This company has caps for 6x6 and 5.5x5.5. Save yourself and the company some time by being sure you are buying what you need. The product has a nice appearance.

They are built well. They haven't faded in the sun. Good post caps.

Good solid metal
Black cap that can be screwed on, screws incl, if you wish. Mine fits great w/o securing it down. Metal is heavy sturdy, and the price isn't bad for buying several at a time.

Does what I bought them for
I bought some caps from a local building materials store. They were slightly too small which means they were useless. Returned for credit. These caps are heavy aluminum and powder coated. They are maybe 1/4" too large, which is no problem at all. They attach with two screws, and it took me no time to install four caps. They will definitely keep moisture out of the tops of my 6x6" deck posts.

These are excellent. I'm writing this after having had these for around two years sitting on top of my gate posts. They don't look like they've weather at all. Not a sign of rust and still look as good as when I fitted them. Very good choice.

My only concern was the fact that the cap was Allumimium, hope the screws to secure the cap are rust proof!! Regards
