Gender Euphoria

This book gets it right. Too often the trans experience is given as some sort of horror story. That’s not my experience. Presenting as female is a joyful experience. It makes me feel unbelievably calm and happy. This book aims to focus on this aspect of the trans experience. The stories are short and independent of one another. You can read the ones you like and skip the ones you don’t.

As someone who is struggling with body dysmorphia and coming to terms with my outward appearance and perception from others; this book shed light on a thousand small victories. Life for agender/non-binary/trans humans can be full of inner turmoil validated by an unaccepting society. The good news is, that there are a lot of beautiful moments in life that can bring joy and gender affirmation. This book has revealed to me that there are more of us out there than you think, and we’re all fighting the good fight. Keep your chin up, read some beautiful stories about gender euphoria, and find pride in who you are right now, in this very moment.

I love how there are so many different stories from so many people across the globe.

A book that offers explanations, arrived on time and just as described

this book rocked my world. I truly don’t know that I can properly express what this book did for me, but it definitely gave me hope in a time that does have a tendency to feel hopeless

This book looks at a diverse community that is the trans community and those feel joy experience as trans. The essays each one contributed she there is more than trans pain in a trans person. A good book for the community or anyone to read.

I have to give this book 5 stars. As the mom of two non-binary transgender children, I am still very much finding my way. This book taught me so much!! All of the essays included came from transgender authors, telling their own stories that I needed to hear. My kids are at the beginning of their journeys, which means so am I. I completely support them and I still mess up regularly (my brain reverts to old pronouns/names when I talk fast or without thinking.They correct me gently, and often I am already correcting myself at the same time.) I very much appreciate hearing the different issues, feelings, and everything. As a mom, we want to protect them from everything. This book shows me that I can't, but it also shows me how I can help. I still have a lot to learn, always will, but this book was such a blessing and a comfort. Thank you!
