Flor de Sal Gourmet Salt, Belamandil, 8.8-Ounce Clear Bags (Pack of 2)

I think this is the fourth or fifth time I've ordered this salt. I read about it in some food magazine - a chef offered up how wonderful it is. Feeling adventurous, I tracked it down and now cannot imagine cooking without it. This is not your mama's "shaker" salt - it's large and granular with a lovely, deep flavor. I use it mostly as a finishing salt, though I'll also apply it pretty liberally to cuts of meat when marinating, pressing it gently into the burger or steak. Fantastic results.

This is a delicious, flaky sea salt for adding a finishing sprinkle on meats/soups/salads/etc. but this kind of salt is semi-moist so it definitely wouldn't work in a typical salt shaker (I keep mine in a tightly lidded jar instead).

Took almost 2 months to arrive. Delivered packed in newspaper. Salt was wet when packages were opened for the first time. Not usable at all. Very disappointed waited so long for such a disappointing product. DO NOT BUY!!!! WASTE OF MONEY !!!

This has a wonderful mineral flavor. I highly recommend it for cooking. You really can't go wrong with this salt.

This salt ships from Portugal and takes awhile to get, but the wait is worth it. The salt is beautiful and excellent quality.
