It’s a good fit!

Worked right after installing and looks good. The switch feels and look to be fair quality and not brittle plastic. I don’t know of longevity yet, but I don’t expect to have any issues for at least a few years. 2005 4Runner limited V8 I installed this in my front passenger door the other day and just took 10-15mins to finish. Reviewed a few YouTube vids first. Decided not to unhook all connections and take off the panel completely. Super easy project that anyone can do.

It was excellent part, easy to installed, fits perfectly as stated, and it looks the same as the original, but cheaper.

poor quality. my feeling is it may work out of the box for a while but begin to act sticky after several dozen up and down cycles - I rarely write a review, - and I hate give any vendor a bad review- but I've bought this, it worked fine out of the box but after several up and down uses - it was great- BUT.... it began to fail requiring me to jiggle the switch back and forth several times before my window would go up and down - and then it gradually gets worse - at first I wondered if it was my motor, but determined it was indeed the switch - (as I can always reach over and use my other side control to operate the window- disclaimer I deliver part time- so I might use the window several dozen times a day once or twice a week, but it started failing before the end of the first day !! surely even a cheap switch should be good for a few dozen cycles before it begins to fail ??? - so I returned it - had it not begun to suck the first day I would have not returned it- but then the REPLACEMENT from the same vendor failed the same way- began to stick after just a dozen or so up and down cycles- granted the original toyota switch in my vehicle performed many many thousands and thousands of times before it failed (and it didn't fail electrically - the 20 year old plastic became brittle and cracked-- - as mentioned I tried another one from the same seller,.. same thing happened. If you only use your window once or twice a month, fine- but after I put a genuine OEM toyota switch in- perfection- it has never missed a beat since - I am nervous about trying a different amazon vendor since I suspect they all come from the same china factory- sometimes I hate to admit you have to spend a lot of $$ on genuine toyota parts- and this may be one of those times- and toyota is ridiculously expensive for the switch and f you go OEM - get it from a dealer because there are counterfeits so be prepared to spend $50+ on a real toyota switch. Again if you rarely have to use the window and want economy- you can try this amazon vendor clone switch- the switch visually is the same and installs super easy like OEM- I just would not expect it will work reliably very long. I tried a second switch later from the same vendor- same garbage in garbage out result. Sometimes the cheap knock offs work fine - this was NOT one of those times.
