I make a cough syrup from unpasteurized honey and garlic cloves. In the past I would purchase whole bundles of garlic, peel the individual cloves, puncture with a fork and let them ferment in the hony, with smelly fingers/hands from the effort.This product allows me to make my stuff quickly and easily, with no smell on my body parts, and terrific syrup in record time.The cloves are tasty,I use them in my everyday cooking too.

It is convenient but it's not fresh. Would be OK in a soup but not in a salad
