Lacks instructions
Lack of instructions and what I found online weren’t at all clear. What it’s designed to do is great, it’s just hard to figure out how to get it to back up everything you want it too.

DO NOT BUY
It honestly didn't work for me , it asked me to download an app and I did. But I still couldn't get it to work. Honestly not worth the money. Don't buy. Totally sucked.

A little deceptive, but surprisingly good.
Okay, let me start off by saying that everything aside, this product works. It works exactly as intended, and for that reason I gave it 5 stars. But that doesn't mean there aren't some... surprises that come along with it. Read on, dawg. This isn't the first iPhone/USB flash drive I've purchased online. They can be sketchy sometimes, and you should generally look for one that's MFi certified (which just means that it's "Apple Certified"). As far as I can tell, this ZiKON flash drive isn't MFi certified, but it does still work, which is great. The first odd thing I noticed about this drive is that it actually came in two pieces - the drive isn't permanently connected to its swivel housing, it pops out. But once it's seated properly, it doesn't *seem* like it's going to fall out, or anything. Still, I probably wouldn't trust this as a keychain on my car keys or something. But when I looked through the little hole where the housing attaches, I noticed something that looked like a micro SD card. So, naturally, I attempted to take the drive apart, and sure enough, *this entire thumb drive is just a microSD reader and a 16gb microSD card inside*.Yeah. That was definitely surprising. But here's what's cool about that, you could actually easily and cheaper upgrade this USB stick to a 32 or 64gb thumb drive by just swapping out the micro SD card! Gotta say, I give it points for that, even if it's unintentional. The drive is formatted as FAT32, which works on pretty much every device ever. The USB aspect of the drive works exactly how you'd expect: plug it into your computer, and it shows up instantly. The iPhone aspect of it requires you download an app in order to use it. This is par for the course for iPhone flash drives. One thing I was impressed with was how the iPhone automatically detected which software worked with the drive as soon as I plugged it in. Wasn't expecting that, but dang, awesome. The entire product doesn't feel cheap, but also doesn't feel luxurious. It's a solid metal casing that's not going to get damaged, and the internals seem well thought-out. It even came with a little micro USB adapter so I could use this with Android phones as well. I didn't test that, but I'd bet it works fine. Now, I received this thing for a super cheap price (like a few bucks) in order to review it, so take that into account. That being said, I tried to be as fair and accurate as possible in my review. The normal price (what is it, like $20-something?) is a little expensive, but the fact that you can upgrade this cheaply is actually a super positive in my opinion. I'll update this review if, for some reason, the device stops working in the future. But as of now, this dude is a solid little drive. *Thumbs up.*
