Well Made, Sturdy
Used it to smash cooked carrots and it did a good job. Ergonomic is really unimportant unless you're doing smashing all day. If you have good upper body strength. you can easily use this with ease while sitting.

I was iffy at first because of the price. But once I used it I was amazed at what a great and fast job it did in smashing my potatoes

This potato masher is made the right way. The horizontal handle makes it is easy to grab and mash. This is a lot better the vertical style handles.
