The Original Straight Rolling Pin

My mom was always in the kitchen growing up and we always had wooden rolling pins, but the ones with handles. When I grew up I decided to follow the new trends and bought a marble/plastic one, and that was horrible! I decided to try this one and let me tell you, this rolled out my dough with such ease. I slightly coated it in olive oil before using it, and while I rolled, it did not hold onto the dough. It was easy to just wipe down with a dry cloth after use to get the extra flour off of it and then put it away! No sticky dough left on it at all like other pins I've used. It is pretty long, so that took some thought as far as where to store it, but it fit in my normal size drawers and its so thin I can still fit more things in the same slot with it. Great purchase!

I have had many rolling pins over the years but this one is perfect for my needs. I love that it is of a good weight and size to handle rolling out dough. Easy to handle and having flat ends makes storing it standing up an awesome option. I bake frequently and leave it standing on end by may baking corner in the kitchen. The longer length has been wonderful in reducing the number of times you have to adjust the roller to rollout the dough. Cleans up nicely. Highly recommend.

There is a part of me that said to go to one of the big box stores, buy a dowel, have it cut down, sand it down a lot and then use some sort of smoothing Emery cloth on it, and I said no. Way too much trouble for a rolling pin!I bought this, and although the dimensions were given in the description, is much larger than I expected. Unlike a few other reviewers here, mine was very smooth and ready to use. I just wiped it down with a microfiber and got started. I don't do a lot of baking, but I make a lot of pasta. I like to use this for rolling out the pasta dough to feed through the hand-cranked machine. It does the job perfectly.I'm very satisfied with this, and it works as expected. And yes, I bought this with my own hard earned.

Excellent quality, just wish it was a bit bigger in diameter for my usage preference.

Arrived quickly and I love it. I used this to roll out sugar cookie dough. It's my first time rolling out dough and it worked great. Rolling dough evenly takes some practice so my cookies weren't perfectly identical in thickness BUT that's not the product's fault. Works great and looks great in my kitchen. Feels weighty (in a good way) and feels super solid.

Actually, this is a gift for my granddaughter...I have one very much like this one and I just love it....and she loves cooking so, I'm sure she will love it.

My partner and I wanted a flat rolling pin like this when we got back from Italy, since this is the standard pin there for rolling out pasta dough. Paired with a good pasta maker, you'll be rolling out fresh pasta dough easily. Also great for naan and other flat breads. Also just looks aesthetic sitting on a floured counter. Fantastic pin for the price.
