Love it. Simple in concept and unbelievably effective. Couldn’t be easier to use. While it does make me use slightly more water than usual for defrosting meat, the amount of time saved is worth it! The arms don’t extend to wrap around the perimeter of a normal 2 breast chicken package but no worries bc they grab the top and keep the package secure! I had doubts until I saw it for myself. Great idea! Fair price! Happy to have this tool in my kitchen. Only problem becomes…where to store it! Lol

Works great. The suction cup foot loses its suction grip after about 2 1/2 years, but the device is so inexpensive and handy that it’s worth it to just get another one.

When I ordered this, I want to fully acknowledge I thought it might be a gimmick item we'd never actually use. The thing is actually incredibly useful, enabling me to use far less water to thaw my meats, and it does indeed make for more efficient thawing. I'm quite happy I went out on a limb and tried it.

This is super easy to use. The quality is good considering I’ve had it for probably a couple of years and average using it at least once a week and had no issues with it breaking and messing up. You can use it in the sink or I use it in a big deep bowl for smaller sizes of meat to keep from wasting so much water filling up the sink. I will say for meats that are not as thick, like a couple of chicken breast, I wish you could adjust the size/ height of the claw because you have to use so much water when the meat is smaller/thinner and floats up, in order to keep the meat covered with water. But overall great purchase for the price and it gets used a lot.

I needed to thaw a pack of oxtails I took out of the freezer at 2pm. The tool held the package under the water as advertised. It was a little difficult to get the suction down, but once it was secure it worked perfectly. The oxtails were thawed out in 30-45 minutes. No water added to package. Package remained sealed from the store. Big enough to hold down a small to medium size package of meat. I have not tried it with any size bigger.

I bought this thinking it would be an excellent way to keep sous vide bags submerged. It worked great, but when I tried to remove it from the sous vide bath, the suction cup thingie broke off. So beware about how you go about getting this thing to leggo of what it's adhered to.

This thing works great! It suctions to the sink very well and holds the frozen food under the water to thaw faster. It’s plastic so it’s easy to clean and slim enough to hide in a drawer. We use ours multimedia a week.

This product works. I often thaw meat in the sink and have struggled with balancing items to keep the food under water. The claw does that as described and I found the meat does thaw faster because it remains fully submersed. I thought it was a little expensive for what it is. However, I do use it regularly so it was worth it. I’ve had success with both larger and smaller packets of meat with varying amounts of air in them.

Was actually a gift but kept it myself and glad I did. It thaws out food so fast!

Love this item. No more defrosting floating meat for me!
