I've never used a garlic removal system like this but it sure saved on my hands so I would say it's a very good purchase

This works great for peeling the skin off of garlic. Nice size and a great price!

This thing kind of works. Maybe Im doing it wrong, but I doubt it. It takes some of the peel off, but them you have to pick off the rest.

Good alternative to smelly and messy hand peeling. Can handle 3-4 large grains at a time. Need some strength/pressure to roll it for about 5 seconds. Voila! skin separates perfectly most times.

I cook a lot. I love using fresh garlic. I hate taking the peel off--especially that last thin layer that always sticks like crazy. I saw this and thought, what the hell? It's inexpensive and looks pretty interesting. It actually works too. Roll the cloves back and forth and the silicone roll does the rest. Works better with larger cloves and the tube has to be clean and totally dry. The only reason i knocked off one star is it can be kinda annoying the get those last couple pieces of peel get stuck inside the tube. That's not really an inconvenience, but hey im being honest. This little tube was already pretty inexpensive, but i got it at a discount for offering my honest opinion of the product.

With a very gentle roll, this gets the job done.One small annoyance is that the shredded skin really gets everywhere - it has a static cling to the inside but much of it comes out with the garlic too, so you have to give your cloves a rinse after peeling as tiny bits of skin get stuck to the clove.I received this at a discount for my honest review. You should just buy one of these. They are cheap and work really well in removing the skin of the garlic. And it doesn't break because there is not any moving, rigid parts.
