It’s a cable. It works
Great product. Very few options in this category lour/length. Works as advertised.

Compatibility problems with laptops and external 4K displays
The cable may provide a working connection between laptops with Thunderbolt-3 ports and external 4K displays, but it is never recognized as a Thunderbolt-3 device. Display bandwidth seemed to be limited to 4K at 30P without HDR even when both laptop and display support 4K at 60P with HDR. If either laptop or external display went into sleep mode, it was often necessary to unplug the cable and plug it back in to force laptop and display to discover each other again. During a live presentation or video conference, that would be a disaster. Regularly unplugging and re-plugging cables will also wear out Thunderbolt-3 and USB-C ports. Better to go with a bulkier and more expensive solution that actually works every time.Replaced this cable with true Thunderbolt-3 hub with two 4K 60P HDR HDMI video ports. While more bulky, that solution is reliable and more capable.

"It Just Works" - a wonderful testimonial for today's tech...and rarely achieved any more
The cable was delivered, I opened it up, plugged the HDMI end into an open port on my TV/Monitor, plugged the other into my laptop (Microsoft Surface Book 3), and LO and BEHOLD the connection worked. There was no indication of a bad connection, nothing to indicate the cable would go south soon, nothing bad at all. I have learned to have pretty low expectations for tech devices nowadays but this was a very pleasant surprise.

Connector bent ands then fell apart while installing (with nominal pressure)
Maybe I got one that was defective, but when i installed it, the metal/plastic cap bent and fell off, leaving exposed wires and rendering the cable unusable. Contacted the Seller but they never responded.

Works perfectly as advertised.
Needed a cable to send movies from my phone to a small television on my boat while on vacation this summer. This cable performed excellently, had enough length to be moved around without being in the way, and did not have any distortion in the picture.
