Made from 100 percent DuPont nylon yarns, this Type AA twine is resistant to abrasion, oil, gasoline, rot, marine growth, and most chemicals. Twine is stabilized with special heat treatment to ensure the highest level of twist consistency, with minimum amount of unraveling, untwisting, and kinking.

Good stuff -- a bit stiff, but seems quite strong for the weight
I'm a big fan of tarred nylon bank line for kits and outdoor work, though up until now I've only used twisted and never had a complaint. I saw the braided option and figured I'd give it a shot to see how it's different. It definitely seems substantially stronger, as one would expect. The only downside is that the cord is extremely stiff -- almost as stiff as copper wire actually. There's definitely advantage to that stiffness, but it is pretty annoying when tying knots, makes it pretty hard to get things tight, although the tar does help hold the knots once you get them tight. I did find that it's not too difficult to work some of the stiffness out of a length of cord by essentially playing with it for a few minutes, which makes it quite a bit easier for knots, although still a bit of challenge compared to twisted line. I think I'll probably stick with twisted line for most things except where that extra strength is needed.

60 weight is pretty stiff
I was looking for some strong and stiff cord to restring a 7 foot long King David wind chime. I probably went heavier than was needed, but this worked great. It’s stiff enough I ended up putting a little Vaseline on the part of the cord where I was tying a knot to get it to pull down tightly, and then I put a little 5 minute epoxy over all my knots to maker sure none of them “opened up” after the fact. Probably a huge case of overkill, but I don’t want to have to pull this chime down and do it all again. Very satisfied!

Nice net mending twine
I needed a twine to combine two nets into a large bird net to keep them off our blueberry bushes. This tarred twine worked great. It is stiff enough to provide support but flexible enough to be handled. The braiding keeps it from unraveling when it's cut. Seems to be holding in knots very well. It seems like it will last a long time. I'll update after the season if I notice any deterioration but I really don't expect it.

Definitely worth the money
I had used the twisted bank line before and was somewhat flummoxed by how it was more difficult to tie knots in the braided bank line. With a little practice and the use of a toggle the difficulty was overcome easily. The additional strength and durability over and above the twisted line makes the braid a far superior product. It is now my go-to when I need a long-term or high strength joining method. I can't recommend this product high enough

Great for everything outdoors.
I have been using this for everything we do out doors. I prefer bank line to paracord. No stretching, it's lighter and it has better weather resistance. This is the only cordage I need.

Tough cordage.
This is some high quality cordage. I wound take this over 550 paracord anyday. Slightly smaller in diameter, just stronger and practically no stretch. Might switch my boot laces out for this.

Great product but just a little too big diameter for my use
Had I needed a 1/8" thick tarred cord this would have ben perfect. But I was expecting one with a smaller diameter. I'll still use it, just not for the intended project.

Best bank one for the money period.
I have a smaller roll of this bank line, it has worked great in all types of weather, holds knots very good. It was hard to find the 1 pound roll, but it came in stock at Amazon, shipping was fast ordered on a Thursday and received the item on Monday. I have tried other manufacturers bank line, but found that Catahoula is the best. I will continue to use this brand in the future. A very satisfied customer.
