Cute and fun
Witch Please was one of my most anticipated releases of the year, and it ended up being a delight.Danica Waterhouse is a technomage, and she and her cousin Clem run a repair shop called Fix-It Witches. They have to keep their magic secret because there’s still witch hunters out there, and all their life the Waterhouse cousins were warned not to fall for a mundane because their family has a curse which result in them losing their magic. When Titus, local owner and baker of Sugar Daddy, has a broken stove, he calls on the Fix-It Witches to repair it. He and Danica are immediately drawn to one another and quickly fall into a casually romantic dynamic with shared lunches and fun texts. That is until fears of how Danica’s grandmother will react and the fears of the family curse make Danica feel she needs to put space between her and Titus. As much as I looked forward to this book, I had trouble getting into the beginning and it wasn’t until 40% that I was hooked. It was cute and fun, but for the first 40% or so, at least for me, it felt like nothing much was really happening. But once Gavin showed up, things started getting really interesting and I had trouble putting the book down! This is overall a very light, fluffy kind of read for those days when you just want something relaxing to sink into. It has humor and fantastic chosen family and a super sweet romance, and definitely brought some brightness to my day while reading it. While it started slow for me, in the end I really enjoyed the book and I’m very much looking forward to Clem and Gavin’s book!

Witch Please
Witch Please by Ann AguirreParanormal romance / romantic comedy.Danica is a witch that can fix machines with her powers. She knows her Grandmother will not allow Danica to have a relationship with a mundane but Titus is irresistibly charming. They make literal sparks with a simple hand touch. Danica appeals to a higher power to give her strength to walk away from Titus and for him to not to be heartbroken. But the two are drawn to each other as if by magic.I loved the banter and charm of this book. Titus is adorable and his history of heartbreak makes you want to help him find his true love. I hated the manipulation of the Grandmother and won’t share any spoilers but am happy with the resolution.Titus says he is bisexual and tells Danica about a past crush with a boy but he is also a virgin so that side of the story feels a little incomplete. The sex scenes between Danica and Titus are steamy and satisfying and also a bit on the light and humorous side. The neighbor cat repeatedly visiting and allergic reaction were delightful. My only complaint was the rather abrupt ending. Happy for now with the intention of forever.🎧 I listened to an audiobook which was narrated by Ava Lucas. The narrator did a good job with voice variations and expressions of emotion. Speed of 1.0 felt like it was dragging and much slower than regular conversation so I listened mostly at 1.25 which is about the norm for me. There was a distinct male / female difference in the performance which helped visualize the characters as the story progressed.Excerpt:“She leaned forward over the counter, proping her chin on her hands. “How interesting. Would you care to tell me why?” “Would you care to tell me your name?” He suspected it was too soon to declare he had decided to marry her and was already christening their babies in his brain. Two at least. No more than five. He had to act fast before his curse kicked in.”Excerpt from Witch Please by Ann AcquireI received a copy of the audiobook from NetGalley, Sourcebooks and Dreamscape Media. I also purchased a copy to share with my romance loving friends.

cute
Witch Please is a cute read. I really enjoyed this one. There are plenty of those laugh out loud moments as well as hot cute moments. Danica and Titus are a delight. I love that we get such a different character when it comes to Titus. He has so many sweet moments that you will just love. Danica is a refreshing witch and you cannot help but to love. The chemistry and banter between Danica and Titus are cute and hot. The sparks really fly between these two. I cannot wait to read more in the Fix-It Witches series.

Charming, perfect mood read
If Bewitched met like... Virgin River... and they had a book baby that included sexually fluid life partners? I am running out of creative ways to describe books, obviously.📖 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗽𝘀𝗶𝘀: Danica is a witch nursing a relationship hangover. Titus is the incredibly hot baker down the street. The sparks between them - both literal and figurative - are impossible to ignore. But both are not great with the opposite sex, and there's also the little fact that witches can't really be with mortal men...🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: To start this off, the easiest thing to say is that this book was NOT what I thought it was going to be. When it first started, it seemed like a vanilla romance with the quirky magic stuff sprinkled in. It was so much better than that!Titus is definitely the best guy. He's bi-sexual and a virgin, and has gone through so many dating mishaps he's convinced he's cursed. So when he meets Danica he's terrified how to handle it and not to come on too strong, but it's love at first sight.Danica is fun and witty. Her coven made me laugh out loud. There was even some great spice added into the mix. It's definitely the perfect October mood read.𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 3/5 🌶🌶🌶
