Good price to have!
If one wants to add one more piece of furniture into the existing home assets with a modern style, this chair would be one of the best for the price($117.21). The grey color is neutral and fits any room that possesses a particular color schema. The chair itself has weight, signaling a sense of the true furniture, and is constructed in solid wood with a sleek design style so called mid-century that roots from Bauhaus School (Germany) in design and architecture, emphasizing the functionality with clear geometrical shapes and clean, sleek lines, yet well engineered and sturdy when the chair assembled. Besides all those merits I observed, assembling this 5-parts chair, functionally, it is not hard for me though I read some comments from a few people complaining the not clear instruction while assembling the chair. To my opinion, the assembling process was very intuitive; I started the process by thinking of putting together the seat and (attaching) the back first, and then I made reference to the instruction by identifying the related hardware. When I had the back attached to the seat, the rest became very clear for what I needed to do continuously. I took one of the armrest and attached it to sides of the seat and the back by turning the seat and back side down and then, in order to set the horizontal beam on, I knew that I needed to have the other armrest attached to the sides of the seat and the back. Thus, I had the basic structure of the chair constructed, and the rest of the process became more intuitive and went on smoothly.... Try it and enjoy its great design and style!

Look great-nice Mid Century chair
Theses chairs look really nice. Solid construction. They are not soft and plush at all. As office lobby chairs they are perfect. Easy to assemble if you don’t follow the instructions provided but YouTube a video. The directions ateTERRIBLE. They make no sense at all and have useless illustrations No written words. Take the left and right stickers off with water before you assemble them. Also the left right indicates looking at the chair and not sitting in in. The bottom front cross board is a bit tricky with a holding bolt and long screw. This goes in last after both sides are on. Don’t over tighten the bottom and top cushions because they have to flex to assemble the bottom. You tighten everything last. On the front cross board line up the holding bolt first on each side and check to make sure the long screw goes in before trying to attach it. One of mine was not lined up properly with a big enough set opening and I had to work on it and hammer I it in before I could get it to thread and then take it out. Way easier to do first and than try to assemble and put it on. Hope that makes sense and helps you all. Watch a video first!

Sturdy, nice looking, firm but comfy
These are surprisingly sturdy and well executed, and I have a bit of experience with cheap furniture! Fairly large, wide and deep, plenty of room. The cushions are firm, but to me, good for this style of chair- it's not a la-z-boy sink into the cushions type thing, but still comfy. Wood parts look very nice, though finish is thin (some folks mention adding a little clear coat before assembly). Assembly is not too tough, though I recall the instructions being a little vague. You will need to drive three screws in which purposefully do not have holes pre drilled- these secure the seat to the frame and you'll need a screwdriver and some elbow grease if you don't have an electric drill. Also, unclear in the instructions, don't tighten up the three bolts which join the bottom and back cushion units untill you get the thing mostly assembled. All in all, we enjoy these, they look nice, and are holding up well after a couple months. For the price, that's pretty good. Other furniture in the same process range has not fared so well.

Firm, yes, and also comfortable
This is a great chair. I agree with other reviewers that it’s very firm, but it really is comfortable. It’s surprising when you sit in it for the first time how firm it is, because it looks cushy, but it feels really good to sit in. It’s well-designed in seat height, back angle, and arm height. And it’s soft enough. It’s also very easy to assemble. Attach the seat to the back, attach the two arm/leg side pieces, and attach the front cross bar. NOTE: there is a fabric zipper flap on the underside of the seat you have to unzip to assemble the chair. I didn’t notice this at first, and couldn’t figure out from the illustration where I was supposed to screw the pieces together. But, as I said, it’s very easy to assemble — even for someone like me, who is obviously not very good at these things.

Higher quality than its price point would suggest
For $163 I’m quite impressed with these chairs. Packaging arrived via UPS in good shape, not torn up like many amazon furniture reviews mention. Inside the box the furniture had ample packaging and was overall in very good shape. I found just a couple dings but nothing major, the light damage looked to have originated from when it left the factory as the spots where I’ve seen any were well padded in the box. Assembly was a bit of a head scratcher thanks to the odd diagrams and broken English, ended up just winging it. With that said, assembly was fairly quick and not difficult, only required a Phillips screwdriver and 3/16 Allen key. The Allen key was included but a Phillips screwdriver is not. Much easier to assemble with a quality driver than their provided Allen key. The end result is solid. The cushions are quite firm but that makes for a more comfortable chair to sit in for a long period, the armrests are a bit low but that’s better than too high in my opinion. The cushions are a bit small so don’t expect a any support on your upper back or below mid thigh. At least that’s as far as they reach on me, 6’ and about 180lbs. Width is comfortable as well, not overly narrow, just wide enough for me to cross me legs without them pressing into the armrests. Stitching on the cushions is well done and the fabric was cut properly, no asymmetrical lines or shoddy craftsmanship to ruin the aesthetic. Overall very pleased with this product especially considering it’s price.
