I had one of these old IKEA couches that was still perfectly comfortable but the years had definitely taken a toll on the upholstery. Before throwing it out, I figured I’d take a chance on getting one of these slipcovers for it. I’m surprised by how well it fits! Make sure you order the right one - this is uniquely shaped and if you have a different model couch or order the arm on the wrong side, this probably wont fit at all. But it feels the model it was made for quite well. The material feels basically the same as the couch’s original material did. If people look closely at it, they’ll be able to tell it’s a slipcover, but with it being a good fit, I don’t feel like there’s anything wrong with that. Best part is, this is machine washable so if something gets spilled on it, I can just pull it off and toss it in the washer.You won’t be able to get to the storage space under the lounge part with the slipcover on. But, it does have a Velcro flap in the front so you can still pull out the bed conversion part, which is a nice bonus.

It looks and fits great! It’s not perfect but for under $200 its cheaper than a new couch! I looked at a few other options but this was the most affordable I could find. It’s prolonging the life of my couch for the time being and that’s all I can ask for. I love the color too, the material is pretty thick (similar to what my couch is). Overall very happy!
