Ordered several colors (red and multicolour) for diving. I used them for over 2 months now and they are still in great condition. So I assume normal above water use will hold up to it. I'm petite at 5'3 and fit me well. A little scrunchy at the end but nothing a fold or tailor couldn't fix for $10 or less

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  These leggings were perfect for my last minute mermaid work costume. I ended up wearing them at work all day and trick or treating with my daughter. They were stretchy but did not stretch out and get loose/fall down. They were not see through at all! I think if you wear a size that is too small they would be slightly see through (like any leggings). The color was great and I will be buying another pair. I erred on the side of caution and went with a XXL (I'm 5'9" and a curvy 185lbs). The XXL fit great in the thighs and calves but was loose in the stomach.

I bought these for an upcoming dive trip with a amazing group of friends.. I had no expectations more that fun.. they were awesome under water and gave great fun to otherwise boring wetsuits.. the crew even took it further and all tried them on and they were left with them for more Mermaid and Mermen Shenanigans..

I expected this to run small and I knew it would be thin material. I am a size 8 in pants and ordered a Large. XL would have been too big, but the L is form-fitting yet comfortable. The pattern is SO cute and so much fun! I got a pair to wear for Mardi Gras. The material is well made, but could be see-through when stretched. I will probably wear black stockings under it, but because of the pattern it's probably ok to wear them as-is. They are seriously so much fun and so adorable! And really well made especially for the price. They shipped quickly, too!

Based on other reviews, I wasn't expecting the XXL to fit me at all, as I am at 200lbs and carry most of my weight in my thighs but for the price, I thought I'd give it a try and could dissect it for the the fabric if it didn't fit. To my surprise, it just barely fits. It's not actually too bad around the waist. I still probably won't wear them unless I can find a way to stretch them further, but if you are just under 200 lbs they MIGHT still serve your purpose. I imagine they would be better for folks in the 180-195lb area. Fabric is as expected, not bad, not great; medium-grade with a good, solid. shiny print.

I got so many compliments on these for Halloween, that I'm keeping them in my wardrobe!I'm a size 8 jean and these had room to spare in the 'large' size.They are a tab see thru, but not terribly. I was eating tunics with them anyway.

These leggings are cute, but the quality is pretty terrible. Getting them out of the package there were seams already coming undone, strings hanging out everywhere, and really just falling apart. I'm afraid that when I wash them they will just fall to pieces and be unwearable. I did try them on, and the fit was a bit odd. The waist came up really high in the front, not so much in the back. They also felt very itchy and uncomfortable, which obviously is not a good quality in some leggings! Overall, I'm not impressed and probably will wear them for the event I purchased them for and not again.

I am usually skeptical about purchasing clothing through amazon, but this was a good purchase! I am 5'4 and 180lbs and I bought the XL. They fit great, and look AMAZING! I'll also add however, there was no tag to indicate which side was the front & back. :(

I was a bit worry when I was ordering them as leggings can be very tricky. I am wearing size 10/12 for bottoms and size L fits me very well! I am 169 cm tall, 71cm waist & 94 cm hips. Maybe they can be smaller in waist area, but for sure the leggings are not baggy. Lenght is OK.The pattern looks even better than photo, it looks also the same on my legs. Fabric is nice & thick, not cheap feeling! They also feels warm what is good for colder days.Just one warning - waistband is slightly itchy inside. Wearing high-waisted pants can be helpful :)

I'm a Uk size 10-12 got an L and fits well. They don't stretch to the point that they become see through. Comfy. Good colour. Would buy again.

Allow a little bit extra for sizing than you'd expect and I think you'll be happy - already worn these a few times and they're stretchy enough to compensate for the sizing mostly........ Just a bit tighter than you'd expect even with Lycra. That said, if you're into mermaids or scales or even looking glitterly gorgeous you'll love these. They dress up nicely if you want to be all eveningy in your tail but they go well with sweaty things for bouncing around at the gym. Sort of a bra for your bum and cellulite really. Enjoy.

Great size guide offered by other reviewers. Go with your instinct and it will fit. no need to get anything larger than what you normally wear. I'm a 10-12 and got a 'large' which is a UK medium. The pattern is great and doesn't stretch when you wearing them. Looking forward to festivals this summer.

These leggings are beautiful, the pattern and colours are great and they look good.The only downside is they are not super stretchy and other leggings I've bought are. My girlfriend is 30 weeks pregnant and they just won't stretch over the bump.However, once he is out these are going to be great so buy the size you need but don't expect stretch over and above the norm :-)
