Toca, Didgeridoo, Curved Tribal Sun DIDG-CTS

My son's had this for a couple years now and he still brings it out every once in a while and thrills us all. Great sound, very durable so far, only good things to say.

Was positiv auffiel: Es ist leicht, aber nicht zu "billig-leicht" oder dünnwandig. Der Klang ist für ein "Plastik"-Didg richtig gut. Für Musiker, mein Apple Logic ProX stellte fest, dass es ist in "D#" gestimmt ist. Es lässt sich leicht spielen und ist für Anfänger durchaus gut geeignet.Was negativ auffiel: Leider ist der Farbton des "Tropical Sun" Musters meines Instrumentes mehr rosa und ist nicht wie abgebildet gelb-orange. Die braune Grundfarbe wurde zudem ordentlich im "inneren" Oberteil (Mundansatz) versprüht. Da ja Farbe bekanntlich nur auf grundierten Plastikteilen hält, und das Didge innen nicht grundiert ist, löst sich diese Farbe beim Spielen ab. Nach jedem Gebrauch muss ich erst einmal kräftig die Farbreste aus dem Instrument herausschütteln und soweit möglich mit einem Tuch innen auswischen. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass sich nach längerem Gebrauch keine Farbe mehr im Innenteil befindet.Insgesamt gefällt mir das Instrument aber recht gut und ich werde es behalten. Der Aufwand einer Rückgabe bzw. der Umtausches in das "Gecko Motiv" ist bei diesem Preis doch recht hoch und umweltbelastend.

Por el precio que tiene es una opción ideal para iniciarse en el instrumento además con un acabado muy bonito, pesa poco por lo que es muy manejable y se puede llevar a cualquier parte.

I ordered this because I have sleep apnea and wanted to see if it would help me. Too early to tell. Wash it best you can before using. Mine had a yellow powdery substance inside of it, probably so it would not stick to the mold. It is plastic so it will not crack like wood can when it gets dried out. I also washed out a lot of maroon colored paint chips that were inside. The designs are nice but should be on top of the instrument so they can be seen while playing it rather than on the bottom. The word "TOCA" is also painted on the top near the mouthpiece. I like the fact that the manufacturer is proud enough to put their name on it. My guess is that it is made in China and I am really hoping that the paint is not lead based. Overall, I like the instrument and would purchase again from this same seller.I intended to make my own but have not had the time yet. It is a thrill when you can finally get the "drone" sound. Took me about 3 days. The circular breathing I find difficult but challenging. I would recommend this instrument. Be advised, however, that you will be playing sounds and not any top 50 hits!
