Great stuff, a must have!
Wishing I knew about the product years ago! A little tip from a 33 year wood-worker…It dries super fast so get a little plastic ziplock bag and spoon some in it, then snip a small corner off the end of the bag with sicssors and apply the wood filler like a baker uses a frosting /bakers bag. That way it doesn’t dry out to fast when your using it on big projects!

THANKFUL FOR THIS SMAZING PRODUCT
This is a truly amazing product at least for my application it was a solution to a complicated problem. I have been restoring the teak on our sailboat (lot of teak 43ft worth) I was stripping a grueling varnish job from 9 years ago sadly the teak was in pretty bad shape, severely weathered from the previous failed varnish. I wanted to try a product that would be easier to maintain and last longer. This product was said to not adhere to anything but wood I knew I would have difficulty filling cracks and repairing holes with just any wood filler. Due to the wood content in Famo Wood I was able to get a Beautiful result, worthy of the hard work of stripping and refinishing that had burned through my summer. This product did not shrink, dried fast, sanded easily and took the stain like a champ. The other thing I loved was the color selection available, the teak/oak color was too light so I tried the mahogany and you can barely see the repair under the new finish. The new finish looks as good as the varnish originally did and shows the beauty of the teak, the cracks and open grains from the severe weathering repaired by Famo Wood made the effort worth while. Also I should note a local Marina known for its repair work and maintenance first recommended Famo Wood to me, they said it's the only product of its kind they use. Also Amazon was able to sell me amazing FamoWood in a larger pint size unlike the local vendors that only carry the 1/4 pint. Also I needed it fast and as usual Amazon got it to me in just one day. Some before and after Famo Wood repair.

Blends well
I got this to fill in my wood porch supports. I used this to fill in the gaps in the wood caused by the weather. I mixed some of the stain with the wood filler, added some acetone and filled away. After sanding and staining, everything looks even. This filler didn't leave lighter or darker areas and everything looks nice and even. I filled it and a week went by before I felt like staining the wood. During that time, it rained and dried. The wood filler didn't shrink or fall off. It was still in contact with the wood. By the way, I used semi-transparent oil-based stain. This filler goes a long way as long as you keep the filler moist.

Great Stuff
So far, and I've tried a lot of products, it's the best I've used to repair stained wood so that the repair is unnoticeable. Just match as closely as you can the Famowood color to the color of the stained wood.

Nope!
This thing seemed used. I buy this same brand locally. I know what these containers look like new. This is definitely not it. I just bought it here because my local store did not have the tiñe I needed at the time. Not buying again.

High quality product that I've used for years...
I've used this putty for years in my cabinet shop because it is one of the best products on the market. I highly recommend it. You have to understand that the solvents in this product evaporate quickly so you need to thin this at times. You can use the famowood solvent sold here or acetone and lacquer thinner work just as well...

Great Filler
Famowood wood filler is an excellent product. Be sure to remove only as much as can be quickly used as the solvent evaporates quickly. Keep the lid on the can as you work. Consider purchasing the Fammowood solvent. I add a splash to the top surface of the can after each use to prevet it from drying out.
