This cover is excellent! It fits perfectly and helps my dogs not feel like people are leaning all over them. It also keeps my visitors' kids from wanting to reach down in the gate.

I am a French dog breeder and I love my Dog Playpen, it's a 24 Inch 8 Panels Regular Octagon Metal Exercise Pet Playpen that I purchased here on AMAZON. It gives my pups a place to play while I clean up their puppy pads from their crate, and play with their Mama (they are weaned) while keeping them wrangled in a safe space.What I don't like about the playpen is the puppies can move it. The play pen comes with these plastic tubes that are suppose to help keep the panels from being moved out of shape, but they are more of a hazard because they fall off and puppies can chewy on them. I was putting a large waterproof playpen mat down and while it helped protect my floors, the puppies scooted the pen right off the mat. The washable mats where fine but a hassle to wash and dry because of their size and they had to be air dried. Also the mat doesnt have a wipe off surface. So if they pooped or peed it would have to be washed straight away.Problem solved with this Dog Playpen Bottom Pad!! The quality is very good and It is made very well. The price is very reasonable and a lot more economical then the playpen mats. It has a Wipe off Oxford cloth on top with waterproof backing. Very Easy to install with clips. (I sprayed the clips with bitter Apple because I was worried about them chewing on them)Not only does it protect my carpet for any urine, and poo, but it keeps the pups from moving the playpen! The octagon actually keeps its shape!My only regret is I wished I bought this from the get go! A must have if you have a Dog Playpen 24 Inch 8 Panels Regular Octagon Metal Exercise Pet Playpen.

I’ve had covers like this before and returned because they were always using Velcro straps, and it would always end in destruction and jailbreak. However, I took a chance on this one with the buckles, and it did not disappoint. Our dog stays put, and can no longer wreak havoc on our house when she decides a game of Houdini would be fun. Dog mom approved!Update: The cover was completely destroyed by our pups after jumping and pulling on it a good amount. The clasps are like fun chew toys to puppies if they’re able to get a hold of one, but even with them broken, I was able to half tie them around each side to stay in place. That lasted a couple days before they scratched the material wide open with their claws and made a jailbreak during the night. I tried to use some clips to hold the tears open but it was more so wishful thinking and desperation rather than a viable solution, haha. This will be good if the kennel that your covering has some decent height to it but unfortunately, most of the playpen style kennels are 2 feet or less so it is within reach for any type of small dog who can jump. After this gave out, I actually ended up using the large boxes that the playpen and some other items came in and broke them down flat to put over the kennel with a couple of baskets filled with bathroom supplies to weigh them down so the pups couldn’t get out. Not the most pleasing to the eye, but it did a heck of a good job! I’m leaving this as a 5-star review for the product because it did exactly what it was supposed to do and the dimensions are spot on and designed well for the style of playpen that this covers. My gripe has more so to do with the dimensions of the playpen itself because the extremely low profile makes it much too easy for even the smallest of dogs to have access to the top because of its design flaw.

My dog would never go outside and play. Now he randomly goes out to his pen lay around, maybe roll in the grass and relax underneath the shade of the cover, especially when we are outside sitting on the patio. He has discovered the great outdoors.
