I have used Mobile Meditator inflatable travel cushions for many years, and didn't hesitate to order NEW Air Meditator once it appeared on Amazon. The valves have been successfully redesigned to make inflating and deflating (for packing purposes) even easier than before.I first purchased the cushions for travel purposes - attending meditation retreats or, simply, for meditating when away from home. But they are so comfy that the Mobile (now Air) Meditator soon became my preferred cushion for daily use at home.The unique three-chamber design - which inflates in seconds - allows for subtle adjustment of the cushion height/shape to meet personal preferences. The feeling of being supported by air is light and buoyant, and pleasingly firm too. The crescent (sometimes called 'moon') shape allows for easy and comfortable placing of the legs in front of one, which is not possible with a traditional round zafu.As a long-term user I cannot recommend these cushions highly enough.

I love it.. I took it with me to travel and used it twice a day to meditate... I was a bit skeptical first, -- I am accustomed to traditional meditation cushions, -- but it is comfortable, light and truly portable... helps to hold my posture properly... and it is made out of durable material... I now use it at home also.. makes for a good floor cushion as well as useful for meditationl.. just a really good product...

We've gone through 3 of these over the years, mainly because the first generation was prone to irritating leaks (that could be repaired easily enough with Aquaseal). First saw them being used by a Shambhala Meditation Instructor who was very pleased. THIS NEW DESIGN IS MUCH BETTER for those of you who might have given up on them. Vastly improved valves, smarter chamber design, better seams.Best part of these is the customer service, though. When this last one just leaked I sadly called the company and Scott immediately said "just send me the order number and I'll send you a new one - go ahead and patch the old one if you want." WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE?Seriously, if you meditate for hours a day during a retreat, or even for less than an hour at home, consider getting one of these. Your butt and lower back will thank you - nothing else even comes close except perhaps a cloud bench with a heavy cushion and ankle support, which at Samadhi cushion will run you 5X what these cost - and who wants to carry all that gear to retreat centers? these suckers just deflate, go in the bag, and you're done.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Just don't use them sitting on cactus or sharp rocks .... ;-)

I'm getting older and can't sit in a comfortable meditation posture without height. This cushion supports me perfectly. It is just the right height, supports my thighs at just the right angle, allowing me to have perfect posture for a comfortable meditation. Because it's inflatable, it's portable and I can deflate it a bit to store it under the bed. It's also VERY easy to inflate. I prefer this to any other type of cushion. I'm very pleased with this item.
