Deckorators 42" Gray Fieldstone Post Cover

We purchased two of these and used them as a driveway marker.Had to cut one just a bit but it worked fine.They look greatEveryone has complimented them so far.Little pricy but they seem to be good so far.We will see how they hold up.

Much more attractive than a wooden post. Typos like stone.

The product itself is great. The concrete and fiberglass is a good combo, and it looks like real stone. However the PROBLEM is, this company does not know how to ship their products. As seen in the photos, the column arrived seriously damaged. The product is shipped with one full foam cap, and (mysteriously) one cap that is open on the end. The column slides through that and breaks when dropped. While I would normally blame UPS, this is not their fault. The package has a very small "handle with care" label that is barely noticeable. Saving a few pennies on one of the foam caps is ridiculous. I will have to try to patch the column, and bury the damage in gravel. If you need the entire column exposed, like on a deck, this will not work. I can NOT recommend this product. Deckorators needs to change their shipping practices. No matter how beautiful the product is, there is no point in buying something that arrives in pieces. If you buy this product, be sure to also buy some concrete patch. You're gonna need it.

There is no post cap with these posts! you have to buy that separately. Doesn’t seem to be available on Amazon either.

This appeared to be a nice quality product. Looked pretty real, not plastic and artificial looking like some manufactured stone products. Unfortunately it was not the right color match for the rest of the stonework on our house I wish there had been a way to get a color sample so that it didn't have to be shipped and returned.

These look amazing and just like real stone! Super easy to install and really added elegance to our new carport! Other brands were made of foam and many reviews said they faded over time. These were slightly higher in price but they look and feel like stone. We are very pleased with them and highly reccomend! They were well packaged to withstand shipping, and a high quality product! You won't be disappointed! These fit nicely/easily over a 6x6 post. My husband finished off the tops with sac crete in a tube, which completes the stone look, and was easy to use.

The post is so much better then the pictures show. We are very satisfied with this and if we ever need another one, wouldn’t hesitate to order. It looks so real, one of our neighbors asked if we had it built!

We used these as a base for 6 x 6 columns for our front porch. put a black shelf around the top and white inserts on top. Overall, it was the exact look I was looking for. The only thing I would caution about these are they are somewhat fragile. We ended up chipping some of the stone base trying to get them on the 6 x 6. After the first one we kept the bubble wrap on them while placing them, that worked much better, but still had a few minor chips. I used a bagged concreate mix and patch them up and it did work. Since we were replacing the columns, it was easy to slip them on over the wood, otherwise it would have been a nightmare. We used plywood (treated) to give it a snug fit after we placed the stone on the bottom. All and all I would do it again just for the look.
