Easy to programEasy to use. I use them on a shed door and the size is perfect. They have held up outside too which is great. They don’t get directly rained on but they aren’t protected from the elements by any means and they still work perfectly. Very easy to open and close and to use the combo.

Bought these to use at the local gym. Great for what I needed, though not sure I would feel comfortable using for anything outdoors. The locks seem well made. Only minor complaint is that you enter your combo, and open the lock, you can't change the numbers (or it wont lock again). In a nutshell, if your combo is "1111", then you have to leave that combo on the lock to close/lock it. If you were to change any of the numbers, then the lock wont close/latch. This means you need to be mindful, and not set your lock down or leave it unattended because then someone may see your combo...and its only 4 numbers to remember. May not be an issue for someone using outside of a gym or locker type environment.

A little hard to figure out how to set up the passcode the first time, but once you do, it’s quite easy. Great value for money

You have to keep track of a key. But a combination is automatic. I always use the same numbers on passwords and combinations. I can't forget it. These locks are not very heavy duty. They could easily be broken with a good-sized screwdriver. Or cut open with a verity of different cutters. But there all I need at the gym for my towel and clean clothes. It's a little hard for me to see the numbers. But I'm 63 years old and my eyes are not the same as they were 5 years ago. I would recommend these.

The lock is cheap and I’d recommend it for lockers but I wouldn’t trust it for anything really valuable. The lock is almost too easy to program. The mechanics seam pretty loose and flimsy. I used this lock for a week. It seemed to work fine. I went into the gym and used the lock on my locker. I think the lock got set to “program” mode somehow. I shut the lock and turned the numbers as I always do. When I got back from my workout and tried opening the lock, my usual combination code that I’ve been using didn’t work. I had to get the manager to get the lock cutters out and cut the lock off of the locker.If you get this lock, I would re-check the combination every time you use it or get a programmable combination lock with a key backup…. Or better yet, a biometric lock.This lock is definitely a great price. But just be careful. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.

These locks were easy to program, easy to use, and fit standard gym lockers well. I don't know about their susceptibility to security bypass or other picking, but they certainly work better than other name brands that I have used; with some of the name brands you can simply apply tension to the shackle and feel the dial friction to determine the combination code.... these are not susceptible to that specific design flaw.

The locks arrived quickly and worked exactly as expected. I only gave stars for sturdiness and durabilty because they aren't designed to be the most bullet proof locks out there. Ours is for our daughter's lock, and they are more than sufficient for that.The most outstanding thing about our experience was in dealing with the manufacturer regarding a question we had post-delivery. They were exceptional - very responsive, attentive and communicative. We are extremely satisfied.

My package seems to be arrived used as the plastic package was destroyed. Also, no manual. So, I have no clue how to setup the password now :/

The idea behind this lock is that you can set your own 4-digit code. However, all that arrived was the lock with no instructions at all. I have had these types of locks before so I was able to do it. If you have no experience with these locks, then you would be left frustrated. Do better!
