I was excited to finally get something that would give studio quality audio via a smartphone.I was totally gutted when it wouldnt record with my Galaxy S22.All I was getting was external mic recording which as we all know is not very good..I downloaded the camcorder app for gomixer but still no joy.I also downloaded shure motiv audio app which recognised the gomixer but still wouldnt record through it.I tried on my wifes S22 to see if maybe it was just my phone but it didnt work with hers either.However I tried it with my old Samsung S10 and an ancient iphone I had lying around and it worked fine with those...and its brilliant! Great audio for sure!So if you have an S22 avoid buying this... my advice is to check thier compatibility page for which devices work.

This product easily allows me to record myself playing guitar on the photo booth app on the Mac while taking the guitar and backing track playing on my phone as the only sound inputs. I couldn't find anything else on the market as cheap that would allow me to do this, especially with such low hassle!

A bit tricky to get working with samsung smartphones while using the camera app.The mixer works perfectly for recording audio only but if you want to use it with your phone's camera app, download the shure motiv audio app and open it in the background. It somehow forces the phone to use external audio via the mixer for everything then, including camera or other music apps.The mixer itself is well built and has a wide selection of ports. I can easily record stereo audio from my laptop / mixing console directly into my phone for videos. Saves a lot of time. Definitely recommended.
