We got this to hang a pretty heavy mirror in the bathroom. Not sure the weight exactly, but it was going into a part of the wall with no stud. This has held it up like a champ, easy to install, no issues.

Hung 2 30 pound mirrors with these hooks with no problems.

We have always had our 18x24 frames shift with the wire behind it on traditional hooks in our family room, since there’s so much traffic. I bought these to hang one specific heavy frame, at 55 pounds, but have now used them up in all the places on our house with larger frames, and couldn’t be happier, because with these hangers there is no shifting of the wire at the back of the frame, which results in continued straight pictures for the first time ever. I am buying another pack. This uses three nails. So, not easy too remove, but you know that from the description, but wonderful for hanging larger items!

Hangs a 20 pound picture so it stays level. I don’t know how it would do on a 70 pound picture because I never tried it, but it seems solid enough.

It would seem a significant challenge to come up with a vastly better solution for something like a picture hangar, which I have to think has been around for centuries. This product actually does it. It is strong, stable, exceptionally easy to install. I hung four pictures, including making the measurements, in about half an hour. Once the thing is in the wall (no need to concern yourself with finding a stud) you can feel how its not going to go anywhere until you want to remove it.I have not tried to take these out, and I still have some large pictures that will require two of these (only to mount correctly, not due to being excessively heavy). Also, as far as I can tell these only work if your picture uses a wire.I'll never use anything but these again.
