As the title says this is the ultimate book on dinosaurs. Keeps both child and parents involved while giving out loads of knowledge

The physical quality of the book is excellent - a solid hardback with high quality pages and colour - with some really nice images. It's nice to see some more modern images as well. In fact, visually it might be the best dinosaur book I've ever owned.It's just a shame it doesn't actually include that many dinosaurs in it. The biggest omission is the Velociraptor, which is mentioned in the pages for other dinosaurs but doesnt get its own page. There are a few other dinos I expected to see which are missing - and the reason I wanted the book in the first place was to find out about some more obscure dinosaurs, which are very lacking, unfortunately.

I took the book to this eight year old boy, for I'd been invited by his mother, a dear friend of mine.I will not forget the look in this child's eyes. He kept jumping with joy and screaming Awesome!!! Awesome!!!then I was given the longest, tightest hug I had ever had, and a couple of kisses. I was so happy for this young boy who, his mum told me wants to become a paleontologist, to learn more about the dinosaurs.Little money, well spent !!!

Oh it's just fab - I'm an adult (of sorts) who wanted to use this as reference for drawing, and it has exceeded expectations, I just love it! It's worth knowing that the AR bits are a wee bit of a fidge and aren't available for all dinosaurs, but even without that it's still a wonderful book.

This is a good quality hardback book, full of relevant pictures, information and text. I purchased it for a very keen 8 yo would be dino boffin and I'm sure she will be absolutely delighted. Having said that I may decide to keep the book for her reference here. I have not yet tried inbuilt into the book internet links to video and possibly other supporting media... looks great though.

Bought this as a Christmas present for our 9 year old dinosaur mad granddaughter. She loves it, the interaction with the dinosaurs was a big hit with her. She mastered the app much better & quicker than I did & spent most of Christmas morning trying to get the dinosaurs to eat nanny & grandpa!
