FANTASTIC TOOL
I had 4 watches that needed batteries. They were all Curren watches and had pop off backs. I could NOT get the backs off with any of the existing pry tools I had. I saw this tool and when I received it, I couldn't believe how easily I was able to pry open the watch back covers. I absolutely think this tool is fantastic and highly recommend it. In fact I am going to order another one just to have it on hand in case I damage or lose the one I have.

tight fit, may need to wiggle it around a bit
As at least one other reviewer noted, it seems just slightly too thick to fit under the notch of the watch back cover. I was going to give up and try one of the knife type openers, but I gave it one last try and it worked. The trick for me it seems was to push the tool against the notch, and while initially it did not seem like it was fitting under it properly, I wiggled it back and forth while pressing the head of the tool against the notch, and then it surprisingly opened the case quite easily.

Works better, safer to use.
This item will easily pop off the back of most any pressed-on watch back. Much safer and easier to use than the skin-slicing oyster-shucking blade that all-in-one battery replacement kits come with. I recommend getting a small magnifying glass or a jeweler's loop to help you find the tool notch on your watch. Few people have eyesight that good.

Great Watch Tool
I used this tool on three different watches. It removed the back from two of them but no luck with the third. Think the problem was the third watches band curbed upward so would probably need to remove the band to get the tool to work and I am not brave enough to do that.

Didn't work but seemed well made
I took it upon myself to embark on a bit of a project that I thought would be exciting, changing the battery in my watch. Of course everyone told me to just take it to a jeweler but I thought I was up for the challenge and was certain I just needed the right tools for the job. I was fairly confident this would work, it seemed decently made and I really don't see any fault in this tool. Unfortunately it seems my watch is the stubborn sort because I tried for days to pry it open, no matter how hard and how many times I try I can't get it to budge. I keep trying in vain, may have to just give up, I also scratched the hell out of it. Needless to say this challenge doesn't seem quite as exciting anymore. I suppose this could work and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, but I think I've just about given up.

Very nice tool, with slight modification needed for my application!
My watch has a very narrow slot provided to remove the back cover, and I was having to struggle with jewelers screwdrivers to get it open when batteries needed changing. This well-made tool provides the perfect mechanical advantage to overcome the pressure required to pop the cover without taking multiple attempts and stabbing yourself in the process. As received, the tip was slightly too thick to fit into the space between the cover and the watch base. I carefully filed and then sanded the tip of the tool into a sharper edge, and it now works perfectly. I made sure not to take any more metal away than necessary, as this is not a hardened tool, being most likely carbon steel with a black oxide coating. Very nice tool.

Doesnt work
The description says "tools" and shows a picture of 4 different tools. I only received 1 and it didnt work. The box tab was ripped so it had already been returned.
