42" UNIVERSAL DRAPERY PULL ROD BY JUMBL

Very well made. Just the right amount of weight to do the job, but not too heavy to lift. Looks good hanging from the rod when not in use. I like the transportability of this device from one room to another so I do not have to purchase one for each window. I have used other devices to open my drapes, but this is perfectly designed for the purpose. I can easily slide grommet drapes over a sliding rod, even over the place where the two rods intersect. For the first time since I bought them, I can slide my clip-ring curtains over the rod to open and close them without climbing on a stool. The rod works well to even the folds in drapes. I didn't know how much I needed this item until I got it. It would make a great gift for anyone else with grommet-top curtains, especially ones that have furniture in front of them, so that one cannot easily reach the rods to open the drapes.

This works really well for closing my blackout curtains with grommets on top. It is easy to hook a grommet and pull the curtain along the rod and is long enough to reach where I otherwise could not get to. It is true that the connection between the parts comes unscrewed in time, but so far this has not annoyed me enough to get out the glue and make a permanent fix. I am sure just a dab of glue on the parts before screwing together would cure this. Wish it were white as then it would blend better into the window frame when I hang it on the rod in the middle - but this is in a home office and the black is not a big deal there. If it were I could hang it behind the curtain on the inside of the rod. It is a sturdy metal so I am sure this will last longer than the curtains.

This works pretty well for what I need it for. It is a little wobbly though. It has to be twisted back together often for an item that is not used alot. The metal is sturdy though.

Like all the other reviews I read yes it comes loose and you constantly need to screw it back together unless you glue it together or I used black electrical tape to tape it so it's not permanent. It does do the job but I don't like how small the hook is because it gets stuck in the grommets. I do like how I can hang it behind the curtains on the rod hanger. I will continue to use it but it is kind of awkward to use. I do think there is probably a better one but I hate returning items and I don't want to pay for another one

So much easier to move the curtains now! Standing on the couch or moving the bottom of the curtain -- or should I say "fighting" with the bottom of the curtain to move the top while it snags every couple of inches -- is WAY better. I was getting very stressed out prior to getting this. Thank you for helping to bring light back in my life! Great material, easy to use.

Items arrives in a small 3 foot long by 6 inch by 6 inch box. First alarm bell. Opened box. Found even smaller package inside that contained two lightweight aluminum poles with a tiny diameter hook on one of the ends. These two small poles screw together and if you stretch the hook out you might get it to fit around a 1/2 inch diameter pole and the stretching might make this things' total length from plastic capped end to the stretched out hook reach 42 inches long. If you are wanting to use this for actual drapes as depicted in the picture of the product with a rod the size depicted in the picture... FORGET IT! This thing is a smooth round pole that is painted brown. It does not have the twisted iron appearance depicted in the picture. I am returning this thing and disputing it with my credit card as well. Item is made in China and is not worth more than $2. Buyer Beware.

This is a very handy tool. I no longer need it for a drapery pull and use it to hang decorations, hummingbird feeders, and hanging pots on my front porch and deck.

Wife and I both love the blackout blinds and how dark the room has become. Now if the dog would only get a watch and sleep in LOL

It came 5 minutes ago and it works well. Only criticism concerned the threads which strangely for a mechanical background I have were difficult to engage at first - the old dodge of going backwards, anti clockwise first, eventually found the right access point for them. Thanks people.
