Possession: The Steel Brothers Saga, Book 3

Disappointed with price of series
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt strongly about how I feel with this series. I'm reading the series late so all the books are available. I read book one free and the book was well written and really got you into the story, so I was willing to purchase book 2 then 3. Now after spending $16 I feel the author could have combined stories into less books. I feel the author has taken advantage of her audience to get more money. I enjoyed the story and feel they were well written but leave you hanging. I would love to finish the series but I don't know if I'm willing to pay an additional $60 to do it.

Highly recommended - mature subject
4.5 out of 5 StarsThis review is for the first three books in this series: Craving, Obsession, and Possession. I read them all at once, so I decided to review them as a group. I received a free copy of Craving from the publisher and bought the rest of the books released at this time. It was that good! The plotline is top notch. It is gripping, intriguing, full of mystery and plenty of suspense as the series continues. We are dealing here with a very adult subject matter, so for those of you that are squeamish or looking for "safe" books, this is not for you in my opinion.Talon Steele is the center of this story. His past is uncovered as the story unfolds and you will not be able to keep a dry eye. The plotline pursues the resolution and ultimate healing from that event in his past. To do this, Talon is going to need the support of his family and the girl he has finally allowed himself to love.Highly recommended for those of you who love stories with twists and turns, as well as a strong dose of psychological influence. One note: I could not give this a 5 star rating because somehow the love scenes just did not all do it for me. I found myself (I hate to admit it) skipping them so I could find out what happened next in this story. It could be just me... am I getting old?

Non Ending
I am only giving this 4 stars because the ending SUCKED. I loved this series. There were parts that I thought were immature for a 35 and 25 year old like how he did not want to go public with their relationship and how she pitched a fit because she wanted to. But otherwise I loved it. I actually wanted less sex and more story. (Which is unusual for me.) But where it fell short for me was the ending. I had to go through three books and then the ending was rushed and over without any real conclusion. Really for over $6 per book I feel like this author is pocketing good money for a hardly finished book. Could have told the whole story in one book. But that seems to be the norm these days for these books. I'm on the fence if I will buy book 4 because I feel like the story of the older brother will be just a lot of the same. Only reason I might is to see if maybe there is more closure for Talon in it. Story was good otherwise.

Healing Live
Finally, answers to questions! Talon's therapy coupled with Jade's investigation is finally allowing him to heal and become whole again. It's not an easy road to follow and it certainly does not have an end point. With the help of his therapist, Talon is being able to put things in perspective and deal with the now as well as the past. Once he reveals his truth to Jade she's devastated but only for what his ten-year-old self had to endure. But she also recognizes that enduring has made him the man he is today. Someone she loves deeply, passionately and everlasting.

Can't put it down!
I am totally hooked on this series! The first 3 books have chapters that go back and forth between Jade and Talon's points of view. There's often suspense between sections, but not in a frustrating way. There are frequent hot and heavy scenes, and generally enough variety to keep things interesting while still believable. Underneath the hot and heavy is a really intense storyline that will keep you guessing. This particular book is a good continuation of Jade and Talon's storyline. There's a small bit of closure towards the end. Then you have a short chapter from Jonah's point of view to hint at the transition to his storyline in the following 3 books. The very end of the book gives you another piece of the puzzle. I just purchased book 4 which will focus on Jonah. Can't wait to dive deeper!WARNING: As mentioned on the book's product page, this series contains material that may be upsetting to some people, in the form of memories of rape/abuse. It is tastefully done, but please avoid these books if you would find that upsetting.

Riveting but way too many loose ends and this is the last one? Sure
I purchased all three books - first time that I felt that I was a bit taken for a ride, with each book costing slightly more than the last one. Then, although I’m told by the author I book three that this is the ‘end’ of Talon and Jade’s story - well, we’ll see. If it is, then it’s a half finished book series and a rip-off. If it isn’t - but enough. First and last time I buy this author. I feel ripped off, for several reasons.

Author is a creative sadist who keeps me coming back for more. Cliffy.
#sogood #couldnotputitdown #foreplay #highanddry #dammithelen #putthispuppytobedGah! I should give this a one star for leaving such a frustrating cliffhanger. I left a review for craving and obsession together. One thing led to another and I thought this book would bring closure. But no. Helen Hardt, you are a creative sadist.New readers, this is such a hard story to read. The journey is painful and descriptions of his torture very graphic. I think there are triggers at every turn.

Burning and yearning for more!
I feel as though I am a part of the saga now! I can't get enough of Talon Steel and Jade! Book 3 keeps the hot erotic scenes coming. The tender love making and the hotter than hell submissive erotic scenes. Need something to spice up your sex life! Read the Steel Brothers Saga! You have to start with book 1 or you won't understand what is going on! I am moving on to Book 4! The author does such a great story with the characters, the main idea, and tying everything together. Helen Hardt is masterful about giving her readers what they want and putting so much emotion in to her writing. I laugh, I cry, I get mad and yet I still want more!! Great book series!

Great books but far too expensive by the time you read them all to get to the end of the story !
I wish I had realised when I started reading that there would be no conclusion until several books later - even having got to the end of the third book after reading that this was the last of Talon and Jade's story - there was still no conclusion so I now have to assume that I am going to have to go through several more books to find out the ending- at £4.99 a book it's too expensive and althpugh I really like tje story I am debating as to whether or not bother to buy anymore because I am trying to consider how much it is going to cost by the end - so far £15 plus the £8 I paid to get the audio version included!

Too expensive
Ok, I didn't realise you had to read ALL of the 9 books just to get a conclusion to Talon's story. I want to know what happens next but I definitely won't be buying the others. £15( + Audible narration as I found this author in audible ) just for the first 3 books without a conclusion to the story is too steep of a price for me.The story was ok and liked the mystery side to it.

A poor shade of hogwash!
Yet another shady copy but not as bad as Sylvia Day who has blatantly copied EL James.Firstly, 9 books, really? It only takes me a couple of hours to read this. The storyline, rich guy Talon (where do they get these names from?) Steel (no relation to Anastasia because her name ends with an e! But it still sounds the same.1. Christian wealthy and handsome ditto Talon.2. Christian has a traumatised childhood has nightmares ditto Talon.3. Ana has blue eyes ditto Jade.4. Ana and Christian have instant sexual chemistry ditto Talon and Jade.5. Christian does not do the girlfriend thing or sleep with women ditto Talon.6. Christian is a dominant and wants a submissive ditto Talon.7. Ana will submit in the playroom but wants independence ditto Jade.8. Christian says "You. Are. Mine" ditto Talon.9. Christian likes spanking bottoms ditto Talon.10. Ana has a sleazy boss ditto Jade.11. Both men have amazing physical recovery in a very short space of time after marathon sex.I could go on. I also don't like the liberal use of the 'C' word or the very wet, messy, smelly sex scenes in the Steel books. This was not really a theme in the 50 shades books so a significant dissimilarity. The writing is far more tastefuI in the James novels. think the author of the Steel brothers novels is trying for sexier but it doesn't work.Don't waste your money and wait for the new ELJames novel

A big disappointment.
Having paid another £4.99 for this, the 3rd book in the series, I was hugely disappointed. The story finished abruptly at less than three quarters of the way through the book. The rest of the book comprised of chapters from a new and unconnected series. I made the choice to purchase the three books which chronicled the story of Talon and Jade, fully expecting to at least reach the conclusion of their storyline. But no, it just suddenly ends with no closure and more loose ends than a dish of spaghetti!!! It's such a shame. I had really enjoyed the story so far, but now feel totally ripped off - and although I would have liked to know how Talon's story ends, I will not be buying any more of these books. I have given 3 stars because I was enjoying the storyline until the abrupt end.

Good but...
Ok so I liked the books well enough to make me want to find out what happened next. HOWEVER had I known I would get no conclusion by the end of book 3 I'm not sure I would have continued as it's just too pricey.Story I actually enjoyed that and the sex was good too. But to have no end in sight and to end the book the way she did was quite frankly a let down.It takes me a few hours if that to read each book which is making me believe these are being strung out for sheer money purposes... surely a better way would be to combine 3 books into 1 and charge a price for that instead of the way it's been done. But hey I'm no writer just a reader, debating whether or not I want to know the end badly enough 🤷♀️.
