Beautiful Victorian style images
I really like Kanoko Egusa’s art style that reminds me of classic illustrations of Beatrix Porter. And I can still find that charming Victorian vibe in Kanoko’s coloring books. I love that there two types of images in this book too: some of them are more detailed and intricate, and some of them bigger and simpler. So you have an option. I also like that the whole book is not just a set of illustrations but a fairy tale too. The paper is thick, white as snow and very smooth. Actually, for me it’s a little bit TOO smooth. It makes the sheets almost glossy. That kind of paper works perfect with gel ink pens and markers, good with oil based and watercolour pencil, but not so good with regular pencils. But still it’s a beautiful colouring book and I can recommend you to choose it with no hesitation.

US version of Menuet de Bonheur?
At first I was disappointed to see that this book is almost identical to Menuet de Bonheur. I was expecting a brand new book with new art. That is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five.Comparing the two, there is no book jacket on this version, the cover is in color, and in the front there are sample colored pictures and a bio of the author. The Japanese version has cream colored pages, and this version has whiter pages. The size is almost identical. The paper quality in the Japanese version seems to be just a tiny bit thicker.I decided to keep this book because this is my absolute favorite adult coloring book and artist, and now I have a backup in case I mess up a page. The art work is spectacular and whimsical.

I recommend this book to anyone that needs a distraction from life and to express yourself! The pages are lovely and all so different while all being on theme. Truly love this book and plan to continue using it now even though I’ve recovered!

Markers bleed!
I love love love this coloring book, It’s the cutest thing. It’s my fault for not assuming that markers wouldn’t bleed but I wanted to give a quick note for everyone before they try to use markers with it. 💖

As ilustrações são lindas.
Livro lindo, com as folhas boas, a capa achei um pouco frágil porém o preço foi muito bom.

Great colouring book
The pictures are drawn beautifully. I especially like the thinner lines, as books from other artists, such as Johanna Basford, I find the lines a bit too thick sometimes. I also much prefer the paper in this book for coloured pencils which are my preferred medium. Sometimes it’s a chore colouring other books as the paper isn’t good with coloured pencils (such as those by JB, which is a real big bear of mine). This paper, although slightly thinner, takes them with ease, including layering. I’ve tried Faber Castell polychromos, Holbein, Derwent Lightfast - all colour beautifully.

Bellissimo
Quasi tutti i disegni meritano veramente, il che è raro per un libro da colorare. Carta piacevole e immagini curate. Prezioso. Non può mancare .
