Bought it for my sons birthday next month. I read it, and I thought it was a cute story. It kind of reminded me of, "If you give a mouse a cookie." I have not read it to my son yet, but I am sure he will enjoy it. There is a lot of ROARING in the story and he loves dinosaurs.

The book itself is great. It's the perfect gift for my dinosaur-loving nephew's birthday. Unfortunately, upon receipt, the dust jacket is torn and appears to be dirty. I guess I'll be gifting a naked book. It may be wise to purchase elsewhere if you plan to give this book as a gift.

This was perfect for my grand daughter's 5th birthday. She is a huge dinosaur fan and the story was great. She actually read it to me the first time. It's not an easy read but she read the whole book with a little help. We laughed at the fun illustrations. Great gift!

Book is very colorful and exactly what I wanted. However, though small the front cover is still ripped. I hate giving it as a gift like that. This could have been shipped better.

Bought this for my 4 year old son's birthday. Every year I pick a book to match the theme for guest to write in. It worked perfectly for our needs, fun story and cute to read out loud.

This is my son's favorite book. He loved it so much when we borrowed it from the library that he cried when we returned it so I bought him a copy. He loves to say "Adios, piñata"

Super cute book. This will be my go to birthday present for every dinosaur lover.

A T-Rex at your birthday party? Who wouldn't want that? But it may not be as cool as it sounds. I loved this story with clever text that helps kids realize that not all things are what they're cracked up to be.
