Digimon X Bandai Digivice Virtual Pet Monster - Black & Red (41921)

Saw this and felt nostalgic. Checked it out and was surprised when the product arrived slightly earlier than expected.This is a good toy for someone trying to recapture the 90s nostalgia. Only comment is to replace the battery that was provided as this device could have been sitting in the storage for months and the provided battery may run out.Gameplay-wise is just a I remembered in the 90s, though this device comes with a few updates, you can bring your companion on Quest and random digimon can battle your digimon.some of the other devices can raise 2 digimon simultaneously, but not this one.

Amazing if you want a digimon Virtual Pet and friend to take care of.

I'm a 30 years old guy, I bought this after watching a random youtube video and was like "hey i had a tamagotchi growing up, never knew something like this existed for Digimon" and so i bought it, i take it with me to work haha, its fun man, these things aged well, the screen is very reflective so this thing doesn't really need a backlit screen, the training and fighting part is what makes you interact with the game often and to me its what makes it fun, tamagotchis didn't have this type of interaction as far as i remember, it kinda makes you restart the game again and again even after you finish all the arenas, also the fact that you evolve into different Digimons every time you start over !

Definitely recommend picking one of the X models up, especially while they are on sale. There is so much to do , so many battles and levels you can play through and a decent sized amount of different digimon you can get on this device. As someone who is still newer to playing digimon in the past year, this is a great device if you’re looking to get into it, also recommend the digimon 20th anniversary releases as well, especially since you can get them on sale right now very cheap and that one has an enormous line of digimon you can raise!It’s fun and ease of use is pretty good after you follow the directions and maybe familiarize yourself with the world of digimon a bit (you don’t have to!)Quality of product on these are really good and there is a couple of cool colors you can choose from.it’s worth the try if you’re interested in virtual pets or want to get into them!

Great Digimon pet! Not only are they a great value, but the quest mode is challenging and fun! The XAI system adds a level of difficulty that can make or break your battles! These don't have the same volume of Digimon as the 20th's do, but I personally like these better.
