HDMI Switch, Mifine 3-Port 3 in 1 Out HDMI Switch with Pigtail Cable Support 4K x 2K @30Hz 3D 1080P for Television/Chromecast Stick/Fire TV / Xbox360 / PS3

Ran out of HDMI ports on my Vizio TVs and I wanted to add an Amazon Fire Stick and a Google Chrome Cast to two different tvs. I bought one of these to try on the tv with Chrome Cast and it shared the port with a Samsung DVD player. The DVD player was there first; so it got position 1 on the splitter and CC got position 2. Worked like a charm; as cc is on all the time the 2 was active constantly; when I powered on the DVD it did an auto switch to position 1 and powering of the DVD, it went back to 2 and the cc. It worked so good right out of the box I went and ordered the 2nd one the same day. Number 2 was for a Magnavox DVR and the Amazon Fire Stick. Worked just like the 1st splitter, totally automatic. Just for kicks, I tried the manual switch on the splitter and with both devices powered on, the splitter has not problem with manually going back and forth. If you need extra HDMI ports, this is the splitter for you.

Not what it advertised to do. I have to keep switching the cord for all to work . Makes no sense . Thought everything would of been a button pressed away. Oh how was I wrong

Be aware that this requires at least one HDMI source to be powered. My directv tuner doesn't output enough voltage along the hdmi to power the switch. As soon as another device (like my Playstation) is turned on that does supply enough voltage, then everything works as expected. A work around for this is a hdmi voltage inserter that plugs inline to ensure the HDMI Vbus is at 5VDC. This can cost as much as the switch. Be aware that is all.

There is no output HDMI port on this model. Instead there is a permanently connected HDMI cable that is only a few feet long and prevents this switch from being more versatile. Also, if you have a chromecast connected, the channel switch will default to it every time.

I am pleasantly surprised, I expected a reduction in quality for this price but it works well, my only gripe is you cannot change the input unless that input has an active signal, meaning if the device is not currently on you cannot switch to its input. But even using PC to my 1080p TV worked well without lowering the resolution and no refresh rate issues. Compared to more expensive HDMI switches this does a solid job, if you're on a budget but need more HDMI inputs I strongly recommend this.

I am happy to report that after a couple weeks of using the Mifine Auto Switch, I am completely satisfied with how well it's working. I have 2 two DVD players (one bluray) and a recorder attached to it, and it selects whichever one I activate. I like the fact that it does not require and additional power source. It couldn't be easier. I have an older hdmi switch that was powered and not as reliable. I am not using that one anymore.

Works okay - but not great. I have my PS3, PS4 and Apple TV routed through the switch. I will be playing PS4 and the signal will cut off. In order to get the signal back, I have to turn on one of the other inputs. Doesn't matter if I switch between the inputs because the signal does not come back.

Did not work with Samsung TV trying to connect Spectrum Cable Box, Amazon Fire, Panasonic Blue Ray.As a matter of fact after trying the product and could not get any sound the Samsung TV HDMI Sound connection is now giving me problems it NEVER had before using this device.Do NOT waste your money. I may damage your TV like it did mine.
