We ordered this for a grandchild's birthday and she was delighted with it. It worked perfectly and was cute and of good quality. She never mentioned the cake so I don't know how it was.

Butterfly box worked great and she liked the vegan cake. The only issue for other people thinking of buying this is non-vegan candy was provided in the box with a vegan cake.

This was so cute! I got it for my mom. She just turned 85. She's had every kind of b-day gift. I thought this will surprise her. I wished I had taken a video. She was definitely surprised, happy! Everything "exploded" the way it was supposed to. The thing you should about this gift. It's kind of hard for the older person to open the actual gift box. Cuz Everything is wound up so tight in it. So, you might have to open it for them. Just do it right in front of them. The butterflys really come flying out. As long as whoever is opening it doesn't have a hard time doing it. I would recommend it. My mom said she loved it!
