Asian Best Jasmine Rice, 25 Pound

I use quite a bit of jasmine rice, but there are only two of us, so most of this is going into my food storage system. It was this year's crop, and is very fresh. I love the smell, both raw and cooked! This rice tastes very good, and cooks up easily and well. I would recommend it, unreservedly. The price was great. It was shipped quickly, packaged appropriately, and arrived safely. I am delighted to have it!

I had been eating Lucky Elephant brand for the longest but my area was out so I opted for this. I also saw Lucky being sold out on here, that's the one that EBT can cover. Not sure where others are complaining that this brand cost too much but for me it was a steal considering that a 10lb bag of Lucky Elephant in NYC retails for 15 dollars. In fact this cost a little less than Lucky for the same quantity of 25lbs. Bag I got is fresh and cooked pretty fast. This also has a nice texture and fluffed up well. It's def a quality rice but not as quality as Lucky Elephant's jasmine. It's a pretty good buy since I've had some lower quality Jasmine rices over the years so I could see myself rebuying. Price is reasonable to me, taste and texture is fine so it's a win all around.

Apparently it’s great rice! I sent it to a a fractionally Asian friend of mine as retaliation to a prank holiday gift he sent me. He and his family adore the the rice. The night he received it, he threw some in a rice cooker, mixed in some other prank food items I sent him and made a delightful dinner. Weeks later while at his house, he made the exact dish and gave me some of it. It was some of the best rice I’ve ever had! And that’s even after the bitter taste of my prank not only failing at its objective. But converting several people, including myself, that this is some of the best rice I’ve ever had. So much for a satisfying prank!

This is the best fragrant jasmine rice we've found that comes close to fragrant - and we tried a lot different brands before we found this one. We always buy a 25-lb bag, which comes w/ a tag showing the year of the crop. The freshness and flavor is consistent, and well worth the price tag.

The best rice hands down and it cooks better in a rice cooker. Don’t buy it all save some for me! Didn’t use to be so high but with inflation I guess that’s why the prices rise.
