This is easily my new favorite book
Unique and insanely mesmerizing art lies within these pages. I’ve never been so awe struck and just flat out amazed by a book. I started to get emotional and found myself tearing up as my mind couldn’t comprehend how one person could possibly dream up these illustrations. I recommend this book to absolutely everyone :) get ready for a little adventure.

Amazing artwork, fantastic information
a work like this will send you down a rabbit hole so deep you’ll never wanna get out. not only does this contextualize the beginnings of western use of mushrooms but it also had unique and vibrant illustrations that go very well with the content in my opinion. definitely going to check out “Bicycle Day,” Bloomerth’s first graphic work detailing the discovery of LSD. Highly recommend you pick this up, however, while i understand that this work probably took quite a bit of research and effort to create, and inflation isn’t helping this either, $32 was quite a bit to pay for something i finished in my car in 15 minutes, although it is currently on sale for $24.50, which i would say is closer to what i wish i had paid. but i will say that this work has so much art packed into it that to really observe and appreciate all of it requires multiple read-throughs, and for that i would say that it’s longevity as a piece of artwork to have and show off is more than worth what i paid

These Are Great -- Keep Going
I read this right after Blomerth's Bicycle Day, and found both titles fascinating. The illustrations are exceptionally engaging and have a very unique visual style. Like Bicycle Day, this book is focused on the introduction of a new drug to American culture--psyllocibin. The author had more to work with here, so the narrative is a little more detailed and features for memorable characters, but the book is still an easy read. It took me about 30 minutes. I highly recommend it and hope Blomerth continues with more origin stories.
