Vtech 539303 Paw Patrol: The Movie: Learning Phone, Blue

My two year old son absolutely love this.

This paw patrol phone has its pros and cons. My 2 year old finds it very entertaining. She presses the buttons and speaks to the microphone but doesn't yet understand the games. The games are mainly educational but can be fun. However, out child isn't allowed regular TV, tablets or smartphones so for her this is quite cool. If your children have access to them they mind find this toy dated and not very engaging.I personally think the games are fun and the paw patrol characters are great. But I'm also conscious that these are the kind of toys I'd have in the 90s so perhaps a little retro for this day and age.

My little girl absolutely loves paw patrol so I knew as soon as I saw this it would be a hit with her, especially as it’s based on the new movie so includes Liberty. I’m a bit harder to impress but I actually thought this was great too. A couple of the games were slightly too grown up for her, she’s 3 in a few months and the game with the basic addition was especially tricky for her with it asking for simple maths answers I.e 2 + 2 = ? which she can’t do so found a bit frustrating, but other then that it’s been brilliant. I’ve filmed a video so you can see all the games in action but in short it’s got 4 games, basic settings, and a voice recorder for leaving “voicemails” for the pups. The only other thing worth mentioning is that it requires 2x AAA batteries, there are some included but it says they are for demo only so will need replacing.Overall this has been a bit hit in our household so I’d happily recommend it. I think it would make an ideal birthday or a Christmas present for a paw patrol fan!

I ordered this Paw Patrol phone for my sister Molly.Arrived in branded package, Learning phone ready for use a battery already fitted.Very young looking phone, suitable for 3/4 year old's any older would not be interested.Phone is very well made and everything works perfectly, unfortunately LCD screen is to small so makes math's games hard without adult support and volume of whole unit is very quiet.Molly enjoy playing number games with me, kept coming back with the damn phone even after I finished playing the games.Phone has many buttons which are fun for a couple of presses but not interaction after that. Press the character buttons and you hear a phase from that character but because of low volume this doesn't really excite Molly.Overall, great idea in teaching number games whilst have fun. Unfortunately there is not much fun and the games can only be played when you are playing also.I would not recommend this product.

Great sized item and ready to use right out the box! It arrived with a battery inside which is a great touch when it comes to kits toys! It’s definitely fits in with the age range states and is a very fun and interactive toy with all the paw patrol voices in. The phone is a nice large size with plenty of buttons to be pressed and the sound is not to deathening either! Would make a great gift for a birthday or Christmas :)
