The first thing I want to note is that after waiting over a month to get my shoes, I received shoes in a totally different fabric than I ordered. Luckily, the styling with a bow on the toe, and beads around the ankle, was the same, and the different fabric was "doable". As with most shoes from China, the fitting of the shoes was sufficiently "off" that I can't claim they are comfortable, but the sizing is comparable to U.S. (I am a 9, who ordered a 9). One last comment, when tying the shoe, I wound up pulling the gold "string" taut and wrapping it around my ankle, and tying it in front like an espadrille. It not only made tying easier, but it added additional "security" in keeping the foot in the shoe.
