OK but I think I need an industrial version :-(
Caught a good amount of little pesky flies overnight (see pic) 3pm-8am runtime. But the flies are still everywhere :-(The device isnt too noisy considering it has a fan inside, and yes the fan isnt quite perfectly balanced as some others have mentioned, the purple light is quite pleasant, powering thins from a USB battery bank seems to be far less hassle than using the mains. All in all, worth the money as it has improved the problem, but I am still looking for a deeper control measure to stop the flies breeding at source. In the meantime this is helping.

It works... Sort of
Double the price of others on the market so wanted to see if better. In three days running I have caught one mosquito.... and a screw🤷♂️(I think it's loose from inside the machine?)The light changes colour every 15mins trying to find the one that attracts "your" fly - which means it only attracts your fly for 15mins in every 90min cycle. Sticky pads are fine, but can't be bought separately so not sure if you have you throw it away once you're out?!Overall - it works. Not yet convinced it's worth double other options (on other auction sites).

Good but does have some flaws
Really good product we have been fighting a fruit fly infestation - we keep reptiles that eat fruity food and have lots of plants so it was getting bad - so we were willing to try anything to control the population. Tried this and it does work quite well has caught a LOT of the flies. I would post a picture of the sticky part but its honestly gross so I'll spare you my horror. The one thing that I would say though is changing out the sticky trap at the bottom can be a bit of a pain, if there are any flies not stuck down they can easily escape back out the top, or out of the holes in the sides as soon as the fan is turned off so I've taken to covering it with a plastic bag in order to swap it out. Other than that small inconvenience it works brilliantly.

Simple and effective
Really easy to use, and very effective. I bought it to control fungus gnats - and it catches loads of them! The sticky cards are easy to replace, and the controls are simple to operate.

So noisy
It starts off really quiet and after 72 hours starting to catch those annoying fruit and drain flies , but it doesn’t get them all - a homemade one with fruit catches more ! And it’s now so noisy three weeks in I can only run it at night ! Waste of money , really disappointed

Does the job
I got rid of fruit flies pest within few weeks. I've been fighting them for long time and now they're gone. I keep the lamp running all day for months now and never had a problem. Fairly quiet noise.

No flys on me!
After being plagued in the kitchen for weeks by these gnats ( we have a banana plant in a pot!!) this little miracle has almost eradicated then in 48 hours. Within the first 15 mins it had started it’s work. Best left on overnight!!!Very impressed!

Works well until it doesn't
Stopped working after 5 months. Light comes on but blue light and fan no longer function for no reason.Flimsy and lightweight.
