First Semester (A Campus Tales Story Book 1)

Oh my gosh! I legit devoured this book! I know it is short but with my crazy life this typically would have taken me a couple days. I could not put this down!!! She has officially Boone of my new favorite authors! I cannot wait to read more by her. The couple was perfection and man the dirty talking possessive man that is Aiden Reed was just drool worthy amazingness. I loved every minute of this book. I even cried during it. For a short book it sure took me through all the emotions!

I’m such a big fan of Q. B. Tyler!! She does forbidden love and age gap so well.Skyler is young, fun, smart, and ready to start college after heartbreak. While she knows that she should get back out there and have some fun on the dating scene she needs a little push from a friend. Only problem is, said friend creates a profile for Sky on a dating app and lies about her age.Aiden is also fresh from an ugly breakup when he is pushed onto a dating app and is instantly attracted to a gorgeous Italian girl with brown soulful eyes.When these two meet in person they have a wild and passionate night that leaves them both wanting more. Until Aiden bumps into Sky again, sitting in his class. Drama!!!Like all Q. B. Tyler books, there is never a shortage of spice and swoon. I was hooked from the start with this book. Don’t get me wrong, I do love a slow burn romance, but sometimes I want to jump right in. The spice… * ᶜʰᵉᶠ’ˢ ᵏⁱˢˢ* ⁣I have three stars for a few reasons. Age gap ⁣books can be fun, but sometimes it’s a little too much. 19 and 32 is slightly uncomfortable. What makes it worse is he calls her princess. I feel as if that’s something a father would call his young daughter. A daddy would for sure give a better name. 😏😂 I wasn’t the biggest fan of the ending either. Overall, the book was really cute, sexy and fun. I’ll say it made my heart a little sad at times, but it is worth the read!⁣

Skylar had it so bad for Aiden aka Professor Reed. And vice versa for him as well. Naughty and tabooish. Loved these two.

Skyler and Aiden are both looking for no promises hookup because they've both been burned by their previous relationships. Skyler is a nineteen year old college freshman pretending on a dating app that she a grad student. Aiden is a thirty-two year old first year college professor. They hookup the weekend before classes start and you guessed it, they're both surprised when Aiden turns out to be Skyler's professor. Lots of they can't take their hands off each other and risky hookups. Easily consumed in one treadmill session :)

I was hooked from the start. I love a book that jumps right in and skips all of the boring stuff. Not that I don’t love detail, but sometimes authors try to give way too much and then half way through the book it finally picks up.And the spice *chefs kiss*Don’t get me wrong, I love a slow burn romance, but sometimes a girl needs something that starts off fast and 🔥. Just like theI’m not a fan of the whole princess thing. 1. I’ve never liked that pet name. I find it slightly insulting. 2. I find it extra bizarre because she is 19 and he is 32. Yes, she’s of age, but she’s still a child and calling a child princess and then railing her into oblivion is a little messed up if you ask me.I’m giving this a 4 out of 5 solely based on the fact that i did not enjoy the ending. I don’t want to ruin anything, but it’s just as cheesy as you think. And I know she’s still young when it ends, but I don’t like how pouty she is. Also, she was 19, dating the guy for 1 or 2 months.. and was ready to get pregnant?? Other than that I really did enjoy this book. Call it hormones or being a hopeless romantic, but I did cry a little and my heart skipped a beat several timesIf you love corny love with 🌶 this is your book.

🛑SPOILERS🛑⭐️:3.25I have been going through a book slump since November and I have read books that are amazing and 5 stars, but I am having a hard time getting into books that don't captivate my attention from the beginning.That is where this books lies for me 😬.I was looking forward to it because I love a good taboo book with age gap, student/teacher, and the sneaking around.However, after starting this book I noticed it was going to take alot for it to grasp my attention.Yes, there was chemistry between Sky and Aidan, but the story was kind of cringey at times. Specially the sexual scenes which there was a lot 😳. I know QB Tyler is know for her SMUT scenes, but I would love to see a book of hers that is filled with plot more than sexual chemistry. I think those scenes are a necessity 😉, but they are not needed at such a large margin.This was a short read that could have been limited by a number of pages. But, I did like the ending and Aidan basically fighting for the women he loved. They both got there happy ending and that is all that counts.

Q.B Tyler was a new author to me a couple of months ago and now I can't stop reading her books. I would have read more but life gets in the way but fear not I am working my way through them that's for sure. Great writing as always and a taboo story between a teacher and his student which is one of my favourite genre.I have to admire the way this author writes her characters, they are perfect and come to life as you read the story. I instantly connected to both main characters and I found myself totally invested in their story and their lives.Skyler is out one night and she meets a man whom she is attracted to. She flirts and so does he and they end up spending one hot steamy night together with Skyler having the best sex of her life.Arranging to meet again she thinks nothing more until she walks into her first class of the new semester and who should be teaching her but the gorgeous man she was with the night before. She told him a few little white lies about her age and now she can't meet his eyes in class. She's in trouble and he is shocked rigid when he see's her.Before you start thinking that this is just another student/teacher romance, it is so much more than that. There are emotions running wild, chemistry that will light your kindle on fire and the sex - OMG lets not even go there, wonderful wonderful stuff. Both leads have a past that they are trying to forget when they meet each other, no one is looking for a serious relationship but maybe the universe has other idea's; but not without some angst thrown in.LOVED this story and I'm off to start the second book in this three set series that can be read as standalone's but what's the fun in that, best start at the beginning and work my way through !!!

A well written sweet love story. A 19 year old heartbroken student, meets and instantly falls for a heartbroken man of 32. After one night of intense lovemaking, strong feelings develop only to crash when they discover it’s a student/teacher romance. As l find all Q.B. Tyler books entertaining l highly recommend.

Nice people doing naughty things to each other. I avoided this at first. I dismissed at as too cliché, too upbeat, etc... Then I found myself in need of a forbidden romance that didn’t rely on angst or betrayal to move the plot forward. First semester hit the spot. Aidan and Skyler were great. This short novella even managed to induce tears. Abbreviated tears but tears nonetheless.If you want a quick student/professor romance with a shot of heartfelt emotion, ‘First Semester’ is the book for you.

First book I’ve read of QB Tyler’s and I already love her and cannot wait to read more. I am a fan of short stories, however in this case I wish that this book was longer so I could enjoy the characters more. The storyline was great and the level of spice was amazing.

Great wee story to keep you entertained. Easy to read and well written. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
