Heats to a good temperature. Would recommend preheating your cup/mug you're serving in otherwise the heat from the liquid disperses rather quickly.I used almond milk (1st pic) and oat milk, unsweetened (2nd pic), to make hot chocolate. Almond frothed much more and gave the milk a lovely texture, but given the nature of the milk it didn't hold its foam for very long. Oat milk frothed a little, but far less than almond.I'll be trying with Barista Oat and Almond respectively once I go and buy some.Easy to use, easy to clean (rinse and wipe - must submerge) and takes up very little space. Just enough for one drink.I have a couple of friends who use this and say it works perfectly for regular cow's milk.Good for the price and saves me using a saucepan/blender combo which is hazardous at best.***Edit 11th Dec***I have managed to secure some Alpro Barista Oat and the results were glorious! Huge amount of fluffy, cappuccino froth with the wired frother attachment. I'm thrilled. Would definitely recommend!! Photos added.

It works well enough however - it's a fine line for overfilling if frothing, a slightly bigger jug with more 'give' would be great. It also doesn't heat the milk overly when frothing (all I use it for) so you need to drink quickly! Lastly, my preference would be for a separate jug that CAN be submerged in water. The last three I had were of this style, but couldn't find one so bought this. It's better than nothing....

This is my second purchase of this milk frother. I bought my original one direct from the manufacturer. It had daily use for about 3 yrs before it finally went on strike. I replaced it with a supermarket own brand & went through 2 of theres within 6 months (I did return them) It was just false economy. So, i repurchase this one & it’s been amazing. You can have hot or cold milk, frothy or not frothy. The little switch on the front lights up blue or Red, depending on whether you’re heating or just mixing. Great for cappuccino, Lattes, Mochas, milkshakes etc. I mainly use mine with my coffee pod machine. Put a bit of flavoured syrup in your milk & it mixes it well, then add to your coffee. In the winter we like to make different flavour hot chocolate. Add a couple of pieces of your favourite chocolate bar (chocolate orange is the dogs doo dahs) then add your milk, pop the lid on & put it on to heat up. Thank me later. It’s safe for the older kids to use themselves too. My only advice would be…..don’t use it more than once to heat milk without rinsing or wiping it out in between. The hot milk likes to bake to the bottom sometimes, then you start getting issues. Also, don’t use anything abrasive to clean it, it’s a non stick coating & it will damage it.A little tip for you as well…..when you’re not using the little whisking attachment, it clips into the lid, so you don’t lose it.

I bought this in November 2023. It worked well until last week that suddenly stopped warming/cooling down but was still frothing fine. The next day it stopped frothing all together and now it’s completely non-functional. I tried contacting customer support which took me to the company’s support team and they asked me the details model, invoice etc, they never replied to me again.
