It fit perfectly and it worked
I received the part after my charger port melted down. I think you should wait until the part arrives and your case is split to start taking things apart. There are a few layers

great fix for a tablet with charging port that goes bad
great economical and fairly simple fix for a tablet (Samsung Tab A, SM-555 for me) whose charging port stops working. After replacing with this charging port (only had to remove 6 screws total and figure out how to open the case) it charges fine now. No instruction included, but plenty on YouTube. Helps if you have the right tools.
