I ordered a 8’. This one is 15’. I use them in the RV parks when we travel and 8’ is a must.

easy for small dogs
this is a must for a small inquisitive dog who likes to roam. Easy to insert into soft ground and my 7 lb Chi can move freely. All other retractables I've bought are just too strong for her to move a step away once the line has tension [even though they claim it was for a small dog]. We are both very happy with this one. The only problem with it [and any others] is if the ground is hard/dry [like at a campsite] it is impossible to push it into the ground. Not the fault of the product at all just an FYI.

This lead is nice for my 13lb poodle as it does not have too much tension. It keeps her where I need her to be while camping, but she can lay down without the lead pulling her back.
