The LEGO VIDIYO Robo Hip-hop Car was a somewhat disappointing set. Despite its unique concept of incorporating music into the building and play experience, the execution was lacking. The set was difficult to build, with unclear instructions and too many small pieces that were easy to lose. The finished product was also flimsy and not durable, breaking easily with normal play.Additionally, the music and video-making features of the set were underwhelming. The app was glitchy and the options for creating music videos were limited. The sound quality was also poor, and the dance routines of the robots were repetitive and unentertaining.In conclusion, the LEGO VIDIYO Robo Hip-hop Car failed to deliver on its promises. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a fun and engaging LEGO experience. Stick to the classic sets with well-designed builds and high-quality pieces. However, for the price it is available at on sale, it’s a good set.

Unfortunately, the app only works with a handful of phones. So chances are, you won't be able to take advantage of the app which is a shame because it looked pretty cool. BUT, as a result, these are on deep discount and I got it over 60% off. For the price, I got a great deal on the Lego pieces themselves - it is larger than expected. So overall, I'm happy.Summary: A rip-off at full price, but chances are, you can find this at a heavy markdown.

We are huge LEGO collectors. Sometimes you buy for the parts and sometimes you buy for the design. My grandson will play with this but when he’s done, the parts ratio to cost was a great deal and can be used to create many varied and unique Mocs.

Kids loved this item and the app that comes along with it. Too bad it didn't do well and lego stopped production on these.

This is a fun little set. The build is fun and utilizes great techniques to get that old school boat style of a car. The minifigs are great too and so detailed. The guitar is especially neat with details printed onto it too. No stickers either! It’s all printed pieces. Get it if you can find it on sale.

the price for a lego IP is a bit high ,might be paying in some part for the developement of the app and its mainteance ,the set by itself is pretty fun regarldess ,figures are REALLY cool and like nothing we ever got from lego.
