I love these little guys. Such a space-compact way to provide not only 5 total outlets but also converts 1 to a 3-prong if using 2-prong model. I bought these a few years back and they are all still working great. I particularly like to use them for that annoying lone underside outlet on 3-plug extension cords (why they insist on putting the 3rd on the flip side eludes me, maybe they like the look of them laying off-kilter). With this plug extender, it lays flat and if you don't need to use the grounded outlet, it makes for much nicer cable mgmt, being able to use the top 2 extension cord outlets like normal + 4 more outlets that run parallel to the ground (see picture). But they also play nice with most outlets, allowing you to use the 2nd outlet unobstructed as pictured by seller (and by me), though you obviously can't plug in a cord on that side. Even used in the socket, they have a wonderfully low profile and the design keeps things looking relatively neat compared to other, chunkier, less square designs. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness only because they often sit a little loose in the sockets, though not so much that I have ever had them come out/cut power over the last few years, even in higher use/traffic areas. I have bought both white/black and both 2-/3-prong models, but I wish the white 2-prong would come back in stock so I can get another set. I like the 3-prong version for all the same reasons, but I find that the 2-prong just gives you the most versatility since you're not limited to only grounded outlets to use it and you can face it up or down (as the 2-prong is non-polarized, i.e. both prongs are the same size).

This socket extender solves my needs perfectly. I didn't like having my kitchen countertop appliances and electronics plugs sticking straight out. This little gadget allows me to plug a couple of devices and their plugs hug the wall and are out of the way. Love it! Plus, I got two of them in the package. Black matches my kitchen outlets. Of note: the extender itself is 3-pronged. However, anything you plug into it must be 2-pronged. It's not a drawback or flaw, its just how it is designed. It's simple and I love it!

So this product does, mostly, what it is advertised to do. It serves as an outlet splitter, providing one 3 prong outlet, then three 2 prong outlets on the sides and bottom, with three additional USB ports on the top of the plug, or however it will be orientated. Have run a heater off the 2 prong outlets and this splitter has never gotten hot. Only complaint is that the product advertises you can plug this into an outlet, and if its a standard 2 outlet wall unit the splitter will not cover the other outlet. Unfortunately it does cover over the other outlet just enough to prevent anything from plugging into the other outlet, hence the 4 star review. Overall if your looking for a low profile splitter, and are ok losing access to the other outlet, this product should do well.

Very convenient to use. It is not loose like other one I bought before. And thin and looks good quality.

Perfect solution for my new recessed floor receptacle when combined with a short plug extension. I wanted to plug in two lamps to my recently installed single recessed floor receptacle, so I added a short plug extension to bring the outlet to floor level and then I used this multi-plug for the two lamps. I like the short profile and the option for a grounded receptacle in the center. The side receptacles are ungrounded, but perfect for the lamps and maintaining the low profile.

Nice, compact outlet extender. Good if want to put a plug in sideways, so not sticking out into the wall. Doesn't obstruct second plug in the wall plate, other than for bulky plugs. Four of the five pugs are useable if you want to use the other plug in a dual plug wall plate. Just what I was looking for.

I just got this today so I can’t comment on durability/safety, but this has solved the giant gap between my dresser/wall and nightstand/wall. Will definitely be buying more just bc it’s so convenient and looks so much better!! Will buy the usb plug in next too, to expand all of my options!
