The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale: The bestselling classic adventure

Read it to my 9 year old, i found myself asking him to go to bed earlier so we can read a few chapters a night. such a great twist on the classics that we were brought up on. we both enjoyed it. cant wait to read the next Ben Miller book!

And his writing is very cinematic in nature.That said, The Day I Fell into a Fairy Tale does read a bit young. It would probably appeal to kids as young as 7 as a read-aloud and up to about 11 for individual reading.

We bought this book for my daughter to share with friends as part of a little “book club”. She has absolutely devoured it and has loved updating us on the story each night before bed. The book is really well written, uses interesting and engaging language without feeling too overwhelming, and is a brilliant story. This is the first book she’s read with a “twist ending” and it’s blown her mind! I can see why it has all the reviews it does now to be honest. We are already looking at which book to buy next from this author since she loved his work so much.

I bought this book as a present for my cousin’s 9th birthday. It’s a cute book with a lovely design on it.

My granddaughter age 11 just finished this book, told me all about it, a great adventure story, she loved it! I was so pleased I picked this book for her, she was also pleased that the printing was larger than a lot of other books.
