There are lots of places on these expensive high tech toys to save a buck using aftermarket parts.The air filter is not one of those. These are off-road toys that play in the dirt, sand, and dust.I do not trust anything other than the Polaris factory air filter. The same filter the engineers used when designing this engine. Aftermarket air filters. like oil filters, often look quite similar to the factory part but their performance can be quite inferior. A $16 filter may look like a $50 filter but it is not. Why chance it on such an important part that protects a very expensive engine? Buy this filter. You can pay a little more now or a lot more later.

The fitment is perfect. I had an aftermarket UNI filter that is about 1cm too long. The air box would not close properly. No problems with this new filter.
