I bought this to replace the original battery that was no longer holding a good charge. Atter installing it, it was at 75%. I fully charged it and cycled it several times as per instructions and at first it was actually worse than the original battery and didn't seem to get any better. I was ready to remove it and return it but decided to do a few more times and it gradually got better and decided to keep it. It now lasts almost as long as the original when new and keeps getting better. For those of you who have cycled yours a few times and are disappointed, give it some more time before you assume it's no good,. If it's not, you'll have time to return it before the window is up. Update Feb/15/24. Well, this battery is pretty much shot after five months of use. It never was all that great but as I only use it at home on WiFi as a backup, it wasn't that big of a deal. Seeing my original battery lasted five years, I would say it's not even close in comparison. Oh well, it's off to another brand to try but I'm not buying this one again.

This new battery booted up at 72% in my wife's Samsung Galaxy A50.. I charged it up to 100% and turned the phone over to her to give it a test drive. It took almost 24 hours of normal use for it to run down to 0%. She charged it up again to 100% in the early evening. It didn't need charging all the next day, and finally at mid-morning of the following day she charged it up when it got down to 3%.This is a HUGE improvement! Before battery replacement, her phone would run down and shut off within an hour ... she had to keep it plugged in full time in order to use it at all.My only suggestion would be for the package to include a link to a website or video with explicit instructions for installation of this particular new battery. Videos are out there, but the low quality of most of them, many by very limited English-speaking people, led me to do the replacement by guess and by gosh.

Battery life, it works on it 💪

This battery works as a cheap replacement but after installing I recommend turning off fast charging on your phone as it degrades this battery much faster than it should.If fast charging is important to you then you should get an official battery but this option is much cheaper if you don't mind waiting a little longer for it to charge.

The battery is working great, but I don't recommend that you order a battery until after you have watched an installation video. I didn't know what I was getting into. I was relieved that the phone worked after my installation.
